can you explain entry a little better?

Do you wait for the hunter candle to close and enter on the next one, or enter in the hunter candle when it moves below the previous candle close?

A chart with lines or arrows would be good

appreciate the strategy!

I don't think so.. the 2nd candle should have a higher wick that the last but close down..

I think your 3th suggestion is good, but i don't understand where the author enters. Maybe when broke the top with 4 pips for exmaple, and if returns to previous close, we should enter... Nepul said that stoploss is 3-4pips, so i guess it is something like that..

Sorry mate, showing and chart and circling the highs and lows isn't teaching us anything about your method.

I'm guessing your definition of a 'min or max' bar is a bar with a lot of momentum? IE a bar double or triple the size of the bars before it?

Also you mention 4pip break of the 'min or max' bar before entering on the next candle in the opposite direction (I think that's what you mean?), however some candles you've highlighted haven't been broken at all... your highlights on the chart are seem so inconsistent

Ok I think I get it now... After we get a momentum bar we wait for the next candle to break it by 4 pips and enter in the opposite direction on the high/low of the break... See attached...

The highlights you've marked with the arrow is what I don't understand in his original image... they don't break the momentum candle so I don't know why they are highlighted for a trade? Also Mario, momentum candle isn't the small ones, they are the large ones before them (or what Nepul likes to call them, "min or max" candles)

in the first arrow there's no hunter stop on the 4h but only a strong max, even if you look on 15 timeframe there a hunter stop, by the way dont care about it(15 min) or confuse yourself.
in the second arrow after the max you see price after 6 candle go again above only to hunt all the stop loss of people were short and then go down, we enter 1 pip above the previous max.
same for 3 and 4 arrow, all hunting stop but with less gain.

how often do you get stopped out on this? These are 4 hour candles.. You enter after a retrace from what you think is the high / hunter stop.. only for it to go hunt again and stop you out before moving down. There is plenty time in 4 hours for a candle to form like that.

Nepul, what is your entry point and time? I'd like to see how you use a 3-4 pip SL.

Here's my entry and exit . . .

Entry: H4 higher timeframe

EURUSD 2014.07.01 20:16 Sell @ 1.3690

10 pip + spread SL

Exit:

2014.07.07 10:00 candle @ 1.3579

Profit: 111 pips

This is simple price pivot trading.. Its better to wait candle confirmation http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=298439 like here explained .. Powerful one.

As you can see the most difficult things is to understand what is the min or max where they will go only to hunt stop loss, it's not easy and it take a lot of time to understand, the main rule to understand is that price always do it TREND, RANGE, HUNT STOP, TREND IN OTHERSIDE.
Sometimes we're not able to enter o understand when they hunt stop loss, but they always do it.
For now it's easy to understand it looking the 4h charts, cause it give you less fake signal, then you can make the same also with other timeframe.

I hope to not get you confuse...this is 30 min chart of usdyen of 3 hours ago in my real account.
Price make a strong min on 2h chart and then price go down only to hunt stop, so i do the same, enter long one tick above min of the previous candle...
you can see where i place stop loss and take profit..
Unlukly position is taking too much time , until now is +6 and i already placed my breakeven.
I'm risking 2 pips, to earn 10 . We'll see...

why did you enter there??? i dont understand , you should enter to 1.36960 ...
10 pips stop?? it depends by you, i 'm scalping i prefere tight stop loss , but you can make different

I enter on M1 but exit on whatever higher timeframe I got my entry cue from.

I have no experience with scalping and will watch and learn.
