Hello Rooi. I have a problem. I downloaded a genesis matrix indicator 2.22 but the line TVI is always white and the line GHL is always red. Why? can you tell me which settings you have? or can you post here the indicator?

Rooi wouldn't using a MTF of a stoch possibly repaint? on a higher tf?

The ultra-stochs that I use to use does not repaint

I you want to have a look at them just click the paperclip at the top right of the thread and you will find them "ultr-stochastic" is what they are called - you can also google ultra-project here on FF if you want to read about how they work

If you're looking at 5m for example and 1h says one direction couldn't it change by the time the next 11 candles complete since that's how many it would take to fill up an hourly candle from 5ms ? If the market is unsure and sideways I mean?

I understand the concept of using mtf it seems good in theory as I've looked into it before and when you backtrace on a chart usually you get a perfect entry every time on indicator setups I've seen. Having tested and done it though I've also gone back from where I marked a trade and saw that it had changed on the higher tf.

I agree - I trade of just the 1min TF these days as you must decide which TF you want to trade on

You can then look at Higher TF S/D zones - all depends on what TF you want to trade and how quickly you can decide if you want to be in,stay in or get out.

The higher time frames give you more time for that in the beginning

1m can be fine I really haven't given 1m tf trading much thought or serious consideration though. Mostly because of having to deal with the 1-2 pip spread+commission cost

Please have a look at this thread - It is exactly what you are look for - The guys in that thread are master at S/D trading - from 1 min to 4 hour.

I learned everything about S/D trading from this thread

Price is the same on all TF and the spread is the same on all time frames - Its fractal in nature (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal)

Who is "he"?

Did you read the thread?

C-12 always used a 6 pip stop on 1 min TF and enter 2 positions.

The other guys trade longer TF's

I'll read more, sofar all I see are posts of winning trades. That doesn't mean success. I liked that he posted his trade statement with his losses on the first page though. I would like if he talked about as i said which trades not to take instead

"As for the SL and TP execution its all done via my trade manager tool (luktom) but I do sometimes drag the lines around manually. I mostly decrease the stop size as soon as I place my market order since there is usually no reason to just leave it fixed at 6 pips."

So i guess he adjusts it to his liking and there is no exact way of doing it?

thankyou Rooi, it's a shame he only boasts about winning trades on his thread and how to win and not more on how to stay away from losing . Don't mean to be negative, but I've seen too many threads and systems where it's nothing but boasting and posts of winning trades on here.
