Could someone please explain to me this 25 ish pip movement ? It happened out of the blue, without any relevant news and also towards the end of the NY session.

At least it was a move within a M5/M15 channel, nothing really astonishing, only the speed was a little fast, but technically okay.

Hi Msfu,

look at attached picture:

it shows the volume distribution of EU

on the lower chart you see the distribution of the last 32 trading days.

red marked is a so called "no-business-zone". In this zone price is prone to heavy rejections. When you see such a zone on a larger TF volume distribution, you can bet that price will suffer rejection or reversal.

No-business-zone means, that the instrument in the past did not trade in that area (much). There was simply no supply or demand at that level.

My best technical call in current lasting fx "carrer". Called JPY index drop of equal 1000 pips across jpy pairs. Call was doubled after retracement, and it finished with 2000 pips worth call, 600 pips on first drop and then after retracement additional 1400 pips.

Interesting on this is as it is quite massive call to consider for 1,5 day worth of trading move, it shows that big funadamental moves are not needed to gain that much such as BOJ printing.
Took quite nice sum pips from GJ EJ shorts especially but positions were small becouse i had to let them run trough night.

Short AU since 0.937, target 1 30 pips, target 2 100 pips, possible max dd 70 pips.

risk is still towards 3672 on the upper side

chance towards the 3626 or 3611


sequence may be first a bit down to above mentiuoned levels, then the try of the 3672.

After that a longer drop is expected

I think highest probability is for a smaller dip down first, then another run towards 3641, in extension to 3672


3650 is a major no-business-zone (160 day distribution profile)

whereas fresher money (32 day distribution profile) has a no business zone between 3660 and 3680/90 roughly)

Maybe we will get a far more complex correction than many believe

when we get a volume fill in the marked are on the 160 day distribution chart the recent wave up may only be leg A or W of a more complex correction (up)

This correction then can easily lead to the 381x region


But as we have seen on earlier distributions I have shown here, we had on shorter term distributions so called "run-away" distribution curves. Such curves indicate, that people changed mind and pressed price much lower in a hurry.

So best will be to simply play it play by play
