You know, yesterday we missed some important detail. For example, EUR/AUD: RSI didn't came from 70 zone! Rules say that for valid entry RSI must cross 70 downwards, but yesterday it wasn't so. It was just a bounce from 70 zone. So, i guess it was not a valid entry. The same USD/JPY. Other pairs that you mentioned i don't trade.

I must also agree that the fisher looks wonderful in history, but repaints itself, especially at low settings like 10. At first, I tried to use Bollinger bands to compensate and enter only when the middle Bollinger line, or all the Bollinger lines were on one side or the other. But, they ended up repainting too.

The fisher you are using is probably jacked up too. I noticed the one that freely circulates around the Internet has had the internal settings played with. Perhaps it was someone trying to settle it down, or perhaps it was intentional sabotage? Either way, it was designed to be a Gaussian gauge, which means accountable to 10, but when they changed the formula it no longer was. So it is extremely likely you have a flawed fisher indicator.

Secondly, I have read some posts about using the fisher that does not repaint. It does not work either, lol. Hey, if it repaints then you know you were fooled and can close your trade and go the other way. But, if it does not repaint, WOW, are you crazy to use that one!! I cannot imagine using an indicator on my own system that will head fake me and not adjust to tell me. WOW!

The biggest problem I have with the fisher is that each new line begins at 0. So, it is really hard to apply probability to it. So, to compensate I finally found that the FXSniper T3 CCI indicator shows the actual fisher. While the fisher will repaint, the CCI will not, and so it gives you stability when used in conjunction to a "proper" fisher. After fixing the mathematical coding errors on the Yurik version, I further updated it with arrows and pop up alert. If you are going to seriously use the fisher, I would suggest you doing this.

There actually is a good use for a properly configured fisher with an alert package. That is if you know the correct settings. I cannot tell you what they are because I am 100% sure I do not trade like you do. Not in my wildest dream would I ever trade a daily chart, so my techniques are not at all similar to yours. I trade 5M charts where actual money is made and those settings are completely different from watching mold grow on a daily chart.

The main point of my post is to inform you that you are probably using a flawed fisher indicator, the "non" repaint one is probably coded wrong too, and the T3 CCI is your stable indicator. So, what to do? Use your fisher as a signal in conjunction with the T3 CCI. OR, if your fisher has no alert on it, then toss it aside and just use the T3 CCI. Completely up to you, but I thought you might like to know an alternative to using the fisher yurik, especially if it is not set to Gaussian like the original one was.

It has been a few years since I fixed my fisher, so I am just going off of memory if this is the only place to fix the code. It's a good start though. I am about 99% sure your fisher is not using the same math. It is easy to fix. Right click on it in your custom indicator folder, click on modify, scroll down to this area and then change the numbers to match these. It will still repaint, but at least it will calculate correctly. Someone who doesn't know "log" math, or didn't want the world to have the right number, changed it around. "Mathlog" would be "log", which is based on "10", not whatever you have on your version.
