Is it possible that brokers adjust indicators that people use so that the signals and entries show up late or they just don't show up on the chart at all?

How can a broker adjust price? Maybe slightly but nothing crazy otherwise this would throw a red flag when looking at other brokers feed. Which indicator would they throw off? If they adjust price it might be helping another person get his entry sooner while your indicator would have a later entry.

I hate brokers but not sure this would benefit anyone.

I doubt it. Indicators are nothing more than mathematical calculations on previous prices, and the broker has no way to modify them I guess. Indicators are done by the trading platform (MT4 for a lot of people), not by the broker itself. The broker could try to influence an indicator by slightly adjusting prices, but it's quite complicated, and not much can be done.

In my opinion, the answer is NO.

Adjust indicators...no!

Have lag and gaps in charts that alter indicators....

YES!

This is a lot easier achieved by the broker if you trade faster time frames...but ultimately, can still be a game changer.

You can look charts somewhere else to take your decisions...
You can pay for a reputable feed vendor if you are afraid of your broker's data.

On the futures market, it's often separated: you pay someone on one side to provide you quotes and your broker on the other side to execute your trades.

Pretty sure it is not possible. Indicators are locally attached to the chart. Unless the broker can somehow connect to your client and do more than just provide price feeds, unlikely that they can manipulate your indicator displays.

The impact is less relevant on the larger time frames. The holes in the chart that are a pip or 2 wide, are meaningless if you are trading off of a day chart, even the hourly in compared to the M1 or M5 sees a lot less.
