GOLD...
The blue lines show the first target hit. The yellow lines show the next target projection. However. Often the first target is also the last target.
SO. A break of the purple lines in either direction should show the true intention of Gold.

Dax30 (4H Chart)

So far, I tried to draw my very first target lines after studying all your past comments dear Ian.

I rechecked and proved myself that the 2 targets from the uptrend have been reached,

Now, I assume the yellow support line of this uptrend is just broken. So I calculated the downside targets and ended up with the 2 blue lines. (9795 and 9540)
The second target feels unrealistic at this time. And since the downside movement was short and second trendline was broken again I calculated another bullish target with a price of 10.176

I also extended the first two targets and you were right, they act now as a solid resistance. If price can break my first 2 extensions then it will probably heading target 10.176

The reason why I explained all this here was to ask you kindly if you could check my drawings and correct me if I did anything wrong.

Hi Ata.. Your drawings are quite good. I'll post a chart giving my drawings. I think the commodities are capable of higher highs yet, but a major retrace is overdue before the final push up.

DAX (15 min. chart)

Short term spoken, Dax seems like it is retracing at the moment.. Because it is the black Friday tomorrow and contracts must be renewed things can go different than expected. Right now I am short target: 9975.

I think your target is correct. A stop at 10.030 would be advisable.

Yes I set my SL at 10.040 (hence of spread and broker protection), after drawing too many lines I started to lose the focus because then it becomes very difficult to trust any of them. Do you have a trick to see when to draw.. where to draw???
