I would not want to make a blanket statement on that, but in general, maybe.... those could be orders to close positions and protect profit as well. Direction of price will more depend on the the belief of the relative strengths of the two currencies, and that can change even in what appears to be a long down trend, and that will change the composition of the orders. It is good to follow the central banks for clues on that, and econ reports on the stuff they look for, then you can metagame what the stops are likely made up of...

I've noticed this relation lately that formed some days ago.
Its EURUSD and AUDUSD.

AUDUSD is leading EURUSD sometimes as far as much as 15 minutes ahead! this is a long time.

I don't know fundamentally what could cause this relation. It all started with negative rates and EUR being sold against AUD. Moves on the AUD are feeding somehow back to EURUSD.

Hey Guys interesting Discussion you all have going on here, you say AUDUSD/EURUSD has some good flows now, any thing is possible I guess, the many details of this market could never all be followed. I will read up on it and see if it's anything that we should look out for. As of right now, the only thing on my mind is the line at 1.35, The flows that came in on the line was truly something else, was it a central bank? probably it was massive, EUR and CHF were bought there in great quantities.The EUR order came in and was bought against every single currency (it was the strongest), then half hour later the CHF came in and was bought against every single currency, it was strange, but since the EUR/CHF is manipulated so much I think it's safe to say that it seems like the work of central banks. So as of now i am a little Eur Biased. The Line at 1.3577 is an American line, every pair was sold there against the USD, but the orders there are small fish compare to the European backing below. I even forgot I created this thread, thanks for keeping it going guys. But I will definately Keep an Eye on the AUS and see how it's moving, a currency acting strange should be watched.

That video Billion dollar day changed my paradigm. They were trading without charts. So, obviously technical analysis is not necessary for successful trading. I also googled the guys they mentioned. Rony Schapler is now a partner at Gellos Capital. Their twitter handle is @FXMacro. from his modest days of trading $13m in that video he now manages 2.2billion usd if I am not mistaken. Great great video. i was also shocked that they had touch screen displays back then, almost 30 years ago.

Hello,
I'm looking for information and tools based on the concepts of the microstructure of the order flow.
Do you know any sites, videos or training related to understanding the microstructure and order flow with the use of the DOM, the TAPE and other similar tools ?
