Good morning.
Bank Holiday here, and amazingly hot. This might influence my trading today....

Closed my UJ long from 100.89 at 102.43 and shorted 102.61 with a target at 99.91. Took a partial to cover for sl, and this might just as well be hit. Waiting...
Other: I expect this week to offer the opportunity for mor technical trading since the big news has been made last week. Let's see.

Read these over the weekend, still trying to make sense of it. Might as well be interesting reading for USD-Bear.

Good morning (have been watching NBA-Finals earlier ). Good to see I am not the only one who wants to short U/J for one more leg down. I expect to buy from 100.00 - 99.90. Otherwise I think there will not be much to do for today - except going out into the sun.

UJ: don't like it, no lower low. Thinking about aborting it.
Closed a EU short from last week, and now waiting for a new long at 3581 (atm missed by 0.7). EA long at peril. ECad: new long planned at 4823. UChf: pendings higher up, starting from 9064, so there's still time.

main thing not discussed though, is Bernanke (rest of the world following now) trying an economic adventure creating a huge amount of artificial liquidity never shown in history with unknown economic effects.
CB activities in the past have mostly proven wrong with bad timing, like steering a boat, they steer left it doesn't react fast enough, they steer more left and suddenly they realize it's going to far....
I'd like to keep it simple:
1. massively creating money, will ultimately cause money to be less worth eg inflation causing a huge increase of interest rates.
2. creating liquidity has caused world wide high debt ratios, there will be a point where debt has to be paid back eg buying back bonds which will increase interest rates.
3. This whole artificial liquidity has drive interest rates down and equities up. We reached a point where doing more of the same will be acknowledged as ineffective because it hasn't influenced economic growth that much, and negative deposit rates are more or less the last thing they can do.
There is a lot of study required, what this situation will lead to but the more obvious ones for me are:
​1. higher interest rates, declining bond prices
2. declining equity prices
3. increasing commodity prices and therefor increasing strength in commodity currencies
Question is as always timing, how long it will take before the price for printing money has to be paid.....

Good morning.

Amazing performance by EU overnight, this must be what weekends look like to people with continuous feed.

EU long not triggered yet, ECad is and about to be stopped out. EA hanging tough, but looking bad. UJ short: amazingly intact and 30 pips up.

Back for London open.

EA stopped out, hate it. Yesterday I read a piece about MorganStanley's call for AU at parity. Is this the play now? Wouldn't that be nice, a chance to cash in on my AU longs...
ECad: break of Mofu, but no close below. Wait and see.

And: found another reason to just love the kiwis...

yes i enjoyed my car racing with my old CSL .
