Hi Rooi - trust you guys are keeping well.....a nice set up earlier in EurUsd - sold off the 1m chart after LO and set my TP for 50 pips, so just above the BRN ( also ~ its current 10ADR) and went out.......back now for NYO 2 and my TP has been hit The dollar strength is also helping my long UsdTry positions, although so far today's range is only 100 pips - ~half what we expect.....

Thanks....I rarely use a stop with UsdTry as the spikes in the spread can be up to 50 pips, so you need to do in-depth research before trading this beastie......

PS I bought before FO off the 2.0850 level with price now closing in on the 2.0900 BRN....

GU plus 7 so far got shaken out after TP1, may get long re entry

The EJ is ranging and spiking like it alwasys does when the EU and UJ are going the opposite ways.Should sort itself out though

Hi Islander

I have been looking at a few alternative pairs whilst the old favourites slumber. $/ Turkish Lira is interesting and I have dabbled with reasonable success. $/ S.African Rand is the other that looks interesting, not tried it yet though.

Just a side note, over the last couple of weeks of watching I have not see spreads of anywhere near 50 pips on my broker for usd/try. I am getting 2 to 3 pips standard spread with variations out to maybe 10 (that I can see). I am sure you have looked across your various brokers for the best rates but thought I would mention it.

I hate to see a move like that when you have finished and then you realize you could have made a lot more. At least we are progressing.

Had a small power failure (you have to love Africa ) and missed the next short but then took the one after that as a continuation trade with one tp
