Clean 123, but it is coming to something when we have to go down to the 5 min chart to find an entry on E/AUD

EU +37 +68 . News trade. Could not post an ongoing as it happened too fast. Next up the press conference where Draghi will announce the rest of the measures, careful here as it could go the other way. {image}

nice trades guys, congrats. I wasn't so lucky today, entered sell on ej H1 last night, I made a screenshot while the trade was in progress had set breakeven to come in at +26 pips, and before I went to bed was even thinking to remove it and just let the sl and tp on. Then this morning I had no access to my MT4 , it was not responding, took me over 2 hours trying to access it. Then see what happened to my trade, bad luck, but was only my fault, really {image} {image}

I entered this on rebound from high, after release of NFP. NFP's results were within range of expected results and I guessed there was a possibility of price coming back to where it was before the news release. In addition, the move above the previous day's high was not convincing as it closed below the high with a pin bar on the M15.
Normally I see Dee and Phx62 taking trades off pinbars on H1 so there was some risk taking it off the M15 but I was counting on momentum seeing price to at least the low of the large up bar i.e. prior to news release. Bagged 25 pips.
My question though is this: Was my analysis foolish? Yes, price worked in my favour. On the M5 a clear 1-2-3 did form but I entered prior to breakout of 2 as I was watching the M15. On M15, TDI just broke back into the blue line. On M5 (looking in hindsight), TDI had crossed beautifully.

so who cares if you were foolish or not.Your analysis was just fine, but you did not need to look at the 5min chart at all!! The 1hr was giving you all the information you needed, the 15m Pin Bar was just the icing on the cake. You had failure to close above the previous days high, yes, but more importantly you had Strong Divergence at a major S&R level with divergence showing on 1hr and 15m and also visible on the 4hr TDI. The 15m Pin Bar with divergence @ a major S&R just confirmed it.

.I used the 5M chart during the news as I think at the NFP ,every minute counts and I didn't like the market response as usually the first minute would have a longer spike but sooner it was fading out losing momentum, I'm sure that it was pure luck and only experienced trader like you would choose the right decision by staying away in such condition and to be honest fear was all over me , I'm working on a real account now and my heart was going to be out of my chest during the news.
I really have no Idea how you could trade the news and be calm...
