This happens to most. Nothing you read will make you feel better. Many many years ago I turned a five figure sum into a large six figure sum in two weeks and thought if I could do that why can't I take it to 7 figures! Predictably I lost it all the following week. There is a saying, "The race is not always to the swift nor riches to the learned but Time and Chance happened to them all". I have bastardised this quote from the original but the meaning is the same.
I still suffer many years later from the psychological damage I did myself when I did those trades. I can tell you that damage was worse (long term) than the money I lost. So don't beat yourself up. Get on with trading, remember if you focus on the outcome too much you will lose. Then at the end of the day decide whether or not you actually enjoy trading or not. To many who admit it, then stop, it is a huge relief. There's no shame in that. Good luck.
