Messy Frankie hour saw a loss for me for the session I had stupid finger trouble on the platform which added to my woes.
Missed the action just now on the LO. Hope someone got the moves on GU and EJ

Good morning all!

Mixed feelings for me, this morning cos there's no Euro news just holidays and today being a work free day in my country, i felt there was nothing at stake no need to get to work as early as I used to besides I'm still demo trading for now, so i got to the office and found what scrumptious meals the market had prepared for us 1 minute traders, how can I miss demo pips so much.

Enough demo trading I'm opening that account next week.

I missed all 3

I enter short when the MA cross filter is red, and price closes below the MA band with a Stochastic cross down, reverse for long entries, very simple basic rules, but higher probability is when price breaks out of the bands or bounces off the bands.

I narrowly missed the GU break to the upside and got in on GJ bounce off the MA band but exited when I saw a divergence brewing against my position (it would have hit my SL)

No trades for me yet. I dislike taking positions into the open coinciding with Eco release of any substance.

On a side note, my AC blew yesterday. Guy coming tomorrow to see if he can fix, or have to get a new one. MY home office is hotter than a sauna in hell! Not quite as bad at night, but totally unbearable for US session.

Just tripped my SL on the first order as I was looking for a better exit

Will be looking at being a bit more active from next week again

I find the news at the open a bit tricky as well but often try and force myself to trade shortly after it as I feel it can create a nice signal and I only have a set amount of time that I give myself to trade

Sorry to hear about the AC and the craze thing is your computer pumps out the warm air as well.

Regarding the ice,Always good when one can have a bit of a laugh

Good morning all.

I've come to believe quite frankly that not taking ALL your signals is the #1 reason for failure in trading.
Everyday I review the charts and I see how I'd have ended up in super positive had I taken ALL my signals instead I let pain of loss keep me from pulling the trigger again and again and recently I've come to identify DISTRACTION as another enemy.

I took a EJ short straight from the FO and it went against me I'd have taken the GJ and GU longs but having committed myself to one position I don't bother with other signals (that would be over trading with my leverage size) they all did well except the EJ and I had to attend an end of month brief so I missed my chance to recover and make profit.

Anyway next week I should have a new ECN account up and running.

Hi Rooi
Don't want to sound like I'm being critical here, just trying to get my head around 'your mentality' and 'the system'
But why did you take the first trade when (a) daily S1 was just a few pips away and (b) it had already bounced off there so there was a reasonable probability it would bounce again?

Thanks Jonnypants, I'm giving myself till September to prove to my family with results then I can quit. (wish I were single I'd have done that long ago.
