If you got caught out by yesterdays news reaction, here is what should have made you very cautious!!

Easy to see with hindsight, but there were plenty of warnings before the news. News was after the dotted vertical line.

An excellent article from Jupafx over at Order Flow Trading. I sometimes feel that I have learnt too much about trading and as a consequence find myself procrastinating about an entry because my analysis had gone one step too far. But, articles like this remind me of the "Useful" information that is out there offered up by those who have gone before.

I think this is what adds difficulty to trading , as it's subjective and depend on the traders experience , that's why you would see successful traders with a certain strategy but if someone else used that strategy he will not have the same results.
You could have three reasons to take a trade but at the minute you want to take it you see one reason not to take it so you walk away and you discover later that this was the right decision " or could be the opposite " , and that applies to to close a trade.
having a clear mind set is the challenge with rules competing over their priorities and you could easily end up with analysis paralyses unless you pay your time screen time.....

It is not difficult before trying anything all seems difficult. But if you start with it then you will see that it is too easy for you.

Current trade EU. +30 1st TP. 2nd TP pending. SL B/E +6. Will post when complete
Yesterdays ES. 123. +32 +68. added a second contract at next 123
Day before ES 123. +36

UPDATE. Have moved SL to B/E +15 1.3695. 15m chart is OS and Price reached minor falling TL. Small Pin Bar forming on 1hr with Divergence. We could see a bounce here so locked in a bit more profit.

UPDATE on EU trade. Moved SL down to 1.3680 B/E +30. Pin Bar +divergence did not form. TP is BRN 1.3650 for +60. TDI and Stochs 1hr are now in OS, see if there is enough momentum to carry price down to TP! just 6 pips away.

EU +38 +58. I left 2 pips on the table. 15m is deeply OS and turning up. news in 15 mins could impact. So I decided to leave the table whilst luck and the gods were with me.

ES +48. 123 Entry. I did not trade today, so here is yesterdays ES trade. You are getting my ES trades the next day because they run until 10pm (my time) and much as I am dedicated to your development as professional traders, 10pm at night really is my limit, especially as I start at 8.00am (my time) I hope you understand.
I am not sure that I like trading the ES because my working day has increased significantly, but, this is where pips are, so I will stop bitching and suck it up. You feel me? (The Wire)

By the way. Is anybody there??

I was a little bit busy this week and I was enjoying reading your posts and just got the chance to reply to the thread thanks for sharing.
what I like most about your trades that you don't stick to the idea that you don't have to trade everyday, but you trade good well setups and chances which applies the concept of working smarter not harder.

I'm trying to understand your way for S&P trading and it seems very close to currencies , are they traded the same way ?
