I took a punt on JCP in the last hours: $7.50/$9.50 ($0.12/$0.19), the puts for 5/17 and the calls for 5/23, also ratio'ed 2:1 calls.

I see JCP pushing $9.50 now, I need a big winner.

zounds JCP near $10.50, that's a 25%+ spike. I thought something like this might happen with all of the short interest. Crossed fingers for a sustain into tomorrow.

JCP not rocketing up at the open, sits around $9.75, and I got out the calls at $0.48 (up from $0.19) and a 25-30% net gain on the strangle.

VIPS shows the way on SINA & QIHU? SINA reports 5/21 then QIHU 5/27. SINA moves with QIHU...kindasorta H&S on QIHU, if you mind that sort of thing....

it's the 2014 Treasury auction calendar. 10yr TIPS are up 5/22. The next 30yr bond auction actually not til 6/12.

EEM looking tippy, good volumes in the Jun put strikes, $42 down to $38....

Bear call credit spread might be a play.
