I notice Strada uses a couple of 'ultra stochastic' indicators - have you tried this?
Also, what does the ASCTrend-2F do? Do you mind posting it?

I use to use the to use the ultra-stochs but its too much for me to look at and think about.I just want too keep my eyes on the Price Action and think about that.
Many people here use it very effectively but I stare at it

The same for the ASCTrend.I have just the 1min TF showing as the 5min can be late or early and its too much to think about again.

Do you want me to post the ASCT ?

I've just noticed that I traded through an EU (german) red news. This was an oversight as I'd normally close any open trades prior to news like this. Got away with it today, but not feeling so clever now, these are rules I don't like breaking.

Break and retest of yesterdays close worked well 7.4+5.7= 13.1 using the new TP1 & TP2 thanks Rooi/Strata.

But just wandering if I should hold that TP2 until I get reverse signal as I am trading with the Trend???

Hmmm food for thought, always , always looking to improve.

Price is dawdling around the DP, so I'd be very wary. London has signalled short, but the signal bar wasn't convincing in relation to the DP. However, price then reversed slightly and made no real effort to recross the DP and at the same time gave another opportunity on the 8.00am signal, would have considered entry then, but wary of london open gyrations.

Hi JP, what you have outlined in your text is a clear G1m signal by my rules, so now I'm just looking for entry.
Signal bar close price + 1pip or more and I'm in, that's what did it today, in fact everyday. I hope I'm answering the Q you asked but if you want more info, just ask.

It played out just like you said and I saw it developing like that as well but if on the open it formed a signal you would have gone long but still very very careful of it.Like always if we wait for to much confirmation then the entry is late but that will always be a headache and some days we I will trade it correctly and other I might not I suppose.Is that how you see it?

Yes Rooi, if London had gone long the signal would probably have been clear from the DP and there may have been a good exit plan as long as the signal bar wasn't too long (ie causing a sizeable SL). The only thing I may have had difficulty with would have been the distance between the pre LO signal and the post LO signal.

Yes,Worked really nicely and just working on building on the confidence and thought process.

Its nice when the opens move the market so that it gives us a chance to make the pips because the market starts to slow down after about an hour after the LO unless there is some news.

You use to trade all the way through though till just after NYO?
