Trading is like grocery shop business, we do not want to close trades without profit.. that is what grocery shop owner is doing to make profit !

I am using more than 8 currency pairs same like that grocery shop have many products to sell., i get profit when this random price action market move and hit in my TP same happening in grocery shop when right customer come to purchase product that stocked years before

This is automatic and manual money management method with monthly 50% profit and 50% DD, my investment was $35 that first day my equity was below $20 now its growing with more than 50% equity and 100% balance profit every month.

Your products are past their sell by dates and are starting to smell bad.

But seriously, where did you get this ridiculous notion?

Deposit 5000
Withdrawal 1500

Current equity 2400 or so

Definitely not 100% profit

More like 30% loss.

Thats one of the mistakes in my view......thinking (or hoping) losses will turn around.

Don't be afraid to cut your losses. If you dont it will wipe out your account.

If you apply some strategy where to enter then you can cut DD dramatically.

post 697 has my template and complete indicator.I post lot of educational material there as well.I have nothing to sell or advertize.Just trying to help.

Set up 2 Bollinger Bands
1st 2 deviations
2nd 3rd deviations
Everything else default
RSI 8 daily chart only
When price is inside 2nd and 3rd deviation and RSI 70/30 then you got high probability trade.
I think of this set up as higher probable winning set up then lot of things I looked into including MA systems.

Just a a general tip.Trading is about managing risk profits take care of themselves. You have zero risk management. You might get lucky show your equity curve to friends, wife girlfriend boast etc but you know inside that's only 1/2 the picture. The other half is huge void that can swallow you to zero balance.
Focus on risk! or you will never make it in this business

Your grocery analogy is false because in forex price can increase or decrease past your account balance. Its fluid always never fixed so using your grocery logic your product purchased or inventory purchased is continually changing while you are holding on shelf.

Regards
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

I don't think you can really claim 100% profit until all trades are closed. At the moment your equity only really shows a profit of $27 (not much of a monthly wage).
I'm only new to trading, but it looks like you have a lot of small trades (which might be fine if you have the equity to allow them to run) and no stop losses;
I would be interested to know how many of your trades are hedged (ie buy and sell) on the one pair, and what your current open swap value is (is it negative and rising daily? or do you only trade the positive swap on a pair?), and if you take less than a $20 profit per trade, are you closing too early, or are your current negative trades in the $100's? How many pips profit are you closing your trade at?
At some point you might also find you can't place any more open trades on that account (maybe about 100), and will have to wait for trades to make profit.
Do you have a maximum percentage of equity that you will stop your margin at?
Just some thoughts for my first ever post.

regards

There is a big problem with the grocery shop analogy: You aren't the one who puts the price tag on the potatoes. Market makers are.

You bought potatoes and tried to find someone to resell them but the price fell. You could have sold them off (aka SL) but you prefered waiting to avoid a loss. When you realized your potatoes were now rotten you bought some more and mixed them to present them prettier than they are (aka averaging down). But the price kept falling. Now you need more and more fresh potatoes to mix with the rooten ones and hope for a gullible potatoe buyer. The more rotten potatoes you hold the more day fresh potatoes you need to mix and pretend all the potatoes are fresh (aka martingale). At some point you'll have no more money to buy fresh patatoes. You'll have to dump them all (aka margin call). Especially because you buy potatoes with borrowed money (aka over-leverage).

Do you realize you keep buying potatoes when you need selling potatoes? You want to run a grocery shop but you own a rotten potatoes warehouse!
No greed. No fear. Just maths.

I'm still at a loss for words, from the er..misleading title to the content..and the grocery store analogy..smh. It would have been great if the poster did actually back up his title with results that reflect it, never mind..
