See my demo account -U$ 200.00 (negative). The robot drew a line tendênbcia low and made ​​several purchases rather than sales, was against the downtrend.

my ea entered buy 0.01 every 35 pips downwards. wonder if its suppose to do that at 35 pip interval?

yup, got error instead.

thanks sir but it is a rar file when i downloaded it it opens in word pad file i could not understand the post. 1 its not mentioned in it where to place it
i have tried to place it in the indicator folder but got nothing.

could any one help me to install this EA. when i tried to download the file it opens in word pad format and i really don't know where to install and how to unpack it as G.T explained in his first post. I have also attached the image of the dialogue box as well could any one please help.

Thank you GoogleTrader for your impressive Strategy.

After download and run this EA for forward test, below is my conclusion of this EA :
1. Strategy ; It's a good strategy to start the EA working based on Mid level of SHI Channel.

2. Money Management : The multigrid also one of good idea to cover the 'Un-predictable' movement.
But, the same volume for All the Multigrid level will make the Open Position become 'working hard' to close the position in profit .

The next idea for improvement :
a. Make the Martingale system for the Multigrid (multiply of the lot by 1.xx and it's adjustable)
for example :
Level -1 : Lot 0.01 ---> multiply by 2.00 (but adjustable become 1.20 or 1.25 as preferences)
Level-2 ; Lot 0.02
Level-3 : Lot 0.04
Level-4 ; Lot 0.08
Level-5. ; Lot 0.16
--> To close the Open Position more less 'pips' than the multigrid with the same volume (without martingale)


b. The Target Profit level (TP Level) with martingale will adjust automatically in 'Profit' (i.e. the Open Position Sell average level is 1.0000 with the TP Level +10pips, so the ALL TP Level automatically changes to 0.9990), but also can be adjustable as preferences.

c. There is an 'escape' planning for the Open Position that still open in 'floating loss' with the CLOSE ALL position in certain $ profit.
Since this EA can be run for several Pairs, sometimes there is a pair that still 'floating loss' for several days and not yet closed because there is no any criteria for closing of the 'floating loss' position. In other pairs, they run well as criteria and closed smoothly in profit.
In this situation, the idea for 'escape' planning is : make the criteria for CLOSE ALL position in certain $ profit, for example : CLOSE ALL in 1.xx % equity (it's adjustable).

---> with this 'escape' planning, if this situation happen, ALL the Open Position will CLEAR and the EA start from beginning without any 'floating loss' position.


Hope the above ideas could be applied in order to improve this EA

haha wow. I accidentally had the lots at the default .10 instead of .01 and wiped my account out in a few trades, good thing it was a demo account. Now I gotta start over.

LOL. Your results were skewed a bit too, the first trade that you took was with profit of $45 and used 0.1 lot too and that made your account shoot north too. So better to start again and use smaller lots and then see results overall.

Grid only works...when you are a bank.

this EA wipe out the account after 3 weeks testing.

This is my 3rd week of trading live account with this EA. So far about 20% gain with the EA, although it could have been slightly more because i intervened with the bot. I added in some rules so that i prevent the account from being wiped such as if the number of stacks exceed 10, i will manually cut loss at a certain amount. This week i cut loss because stacks was going way out of hand for me to control. I think this EA is wonderful to use for me with proper money management, consistency is more important than fast profit! Thumbs up to GoogleTrader for this EA.

I'm running XP Pro 32 bit OS & I got "advapi32.dll" in windows\system32 folder.

Would you resolve these issues so we can backtest for Optimization?
