1 min time frame is the ideal turf for:
Stop hunting.
Brokerīs tricks, slippage, spread, etc...

Took a virtual seminar on HFT (High frequency Trading), last week, on how those robots scalp retailers, on a speed of thousands of trades a second....russian roulette my friend...anything under 4 hour frame, is just food for robot.
Chances are people will loose money, and time , (even more precious)...
Yes, some might make it...my wild guess is 3 or four top guys, over thousands who try...hate to see people getting scalped.
Still I wish you all here the best of success...

Don't worry. You will see that i will trade EU on my live account but with small lot because i have other long term trades are running with relatively bigger volume.

Taking my 10.1 pips today and calling it a day but continuing to work on on all the different "plays" available

Thanks for your good wishes and words of warning.

Im glad to say that of the 1000's of people here are Forex Factory we are just 3 - 6 who trade like this so your guess is pretty spot on.Everyone sees the market their own way and the market is after all fractal so 1sec ,1min ,1hour ,1day ,1week ,1month its all relative

1min has a good R:R once you are able to find a niche in it.

We are all here on the same thread but trade very differently.

Strada introduced me to the EJ rather than the EU because the ranges are bigger for scalping.

I use to scalp EU and GU and then changed EU of EJ as you then have a whole new currency to buy or sell against instead of the 2 pairs with the USD
Dont know if you look at other pairs for scalping or just EU

Hi Huskyboy.

Im sad to say that I have removed them as cloud my judgement and draw away too much of my attention from other more important factors to consider.

I have in the past removed them and added them back and have now removed them again,might add them back but I doubt it.The fundamental idea behind using the MTF stochs is amazing for "intraday swing trading" but im just trying to catch the FO and LO for now as personally I think the market has contracted a great deal and might use them again when the daily ranges start to increase and but will have to see

i mainly look at the 15 and try not to trade against it but like you say, each his own style

today I miss the first move up and then I wait for the LO and the EURO news.

EUR make then a new high and will be weaker a little after the HH and the YEN was on a micro down move so I short the EJ at 08.07 GMT.
3 pis later I out for +4.9, that's the nice at M1 trading quick in and out.
miss as I'm write the nice long move at EUR, but banking my goal already and I have the $ for 5 days in the bank and we have only the trading day #3 today.


I out, wish you all tons of +pips and hope see you all tomorrow

I agree - especially as one becomes more experienced in the art of focusing on the PA around the European Opens......I keep a couple, as they form the basis of my trading rules.

This morning the two HLs were the clue that cable was headed higher and the good Spanish data the trigger as € spiked up ~30 pips....note also the two other potential buys as price pulled back to the still rising EMA
