Y, why unregulated panama broker whose breaking the law and being scammy?
much better to do the work and make a legal buisness in offshore with offshore adress. People & corporations do it all the time for taxes. islands have buildings with 10000 buisness inside with same address and different STE#, Like antigua island. Its only $400 including they foward your mail

I have been dabbling with Interactive Brokers. If you can handle the charting, they are really good. or you can get ninjatrader, multi charts whatever works for you. but one thing they require is that you have to trade a minimum amount they have designated for each pair to use their "ideal pro" routing system. if you trade less than that it is considered an odd lot and the execution is not guaranteed or something like that.

Yeah same here. trying out interactive brokers right now also. So far better than any other American broker I have tried. News trading or trying
Interactive Brokers hands down, for spread, commission, and financial stability/regulation, not to mention you can use it as a feed for Ninja.

For small accounts, FXDD Viking or Powertrader account (marked up Currenex feed, but still great spreads [0.0 to 0.5 EU and UJ].
Small disciplines repeated with consistency lead to great achievements.
I only know FXCM and Alpari US accepted US based trader. However, a google searching is quicker.

i do like IB but there leverage is 40:1 not bad but i prefer 50:1 the max allowed for u.s. traders

agreed. that is another thing. I think they leverage is different for different pairs and ranges from 40:1 to 20:1 for some exotic pairs. it's not an even 40:1 for all pairs.

They do look like they are very reliable and a broker I would trust. Their S&P rating is excellent. I just really wish that they had MT4 for EA's CitiFXpro looks good and has metatrader, but the minimum balance is 10,000 usd and for a good premium account it is 50,000.

I used Trader's Way for a few months up until a couple of weeks ago. I had 31 open positions -- heavy on GBPAUD. BTW, I trade GBPAUD daily and use other brokers. During the rollover from the US to Sydney, Trader's Way increased the spread on my GBPAUD pairs to 100 pips and wiped out my entire account. Neither of my other brokers had spreads anywhere close to 100 pips, and there were no news events occurring at that time. I usually pay a 3-5 pip spread on the pair and have never paid a 100 pip spread on GBPAUD even during major news releases. I captured a screenshot showing the spread and contacted Trader's Way several times about the issue. They didn't respond to a single email. Beware. I think they are okay to use if you are losing money or growing your account slowly, but if you have a pattern of frequently doubling your account, they will likely rip you off.

The United States does not want its citizens making money in a variety of ways. Money is power and the less of it you have the better! There is a reason why London became the financial capital of the world long ago over New York.
Your best bet is to go with either Oanda or fxcm. Citifx's clients went to fxcm. Mbtrading's clients were taken by "Tradeking"; Trust me, you want a forex only broker. All of these other guys, in my experience, and I have tried many, have too clunky platforms and technological issues that eventually make you're give up due to all the problems, because they're focus is primarily on other asset classes. Ignore the advertising they do, it does not correlate to quality.

Here's an old thread about this, but from what I understand it's because profits from forex aren't subject to taxation.

Ext could you post a screen shot please. I just now asked TD and was told they could not tell me the spread history, believe it or not.
I've been with FXCM's Private Client Group (part of their Active Trader Group) for almost 3 years and have been very pleased. Dedicated account team, no charge to wire money in or out.
