Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in March indicates that growth in economic activity has picked up recently, after having slowed sharply during the winter in part because of adverse weather conditions. Labor market indicators were mixed but on balance showed further improvement. The unemployment rate, however, remains elevated. Household spending appears to be rising more quickly. Business fixed investment edged down, while the recovery in the housing sector remained slow. Fiscal policy is restraining economic growth, although the extent of restraint is diminishing. The price doesn't look like its going to go rocketing up anytime soon so if you aren't to far behind I'd close it now and wait to see what price will do around today's lows before entering long again.

The Fed backing off the purchase of mortgage-backed securities from 25 billion to 20 billion and Treasury securities from 30 billion to 25 billion coupled with they think the recovery was slowed by the winter in the US is a good sign for The USD and I believe we will see the dollar go up soon,watch your levels closely!

Sometimes it takes a little while for the market to react but the US is doing better and we should see a turn around on the Eur/Usd, I said earlier watch your levels closely. First level to watch is 1.3905, can't imagine they can run it much higher then there and you know they left a boat load of stops around 1.3785 and they could push it as low as 136.75.

I think it's not so bad, Euro overburdened, and on the background of the output of the Euro market and the good news with US, we see a small roll back at least to 1,3850 (this is my opinion and only)

When US GDP is weak, tapering doesn't have much effect. Besides 45 bil USD QE is a lot. To give an idea, EZ surplus in Feb was 18.77 bil USD. Wait for another 3 months or when QE reduced to 20 bil.

yes i agree and good comment. even though they're reducing from 25bil to 20 bil and from 30bil to 25bil.... that is still very much a dovish stance "until the outlook for the labor market has improved substantially"

Usually it was when im holding onto a losing trade so i search for other's opinion just to try and seek reasons to continue on holding to the loss thinking it will go back up or down because the opinion said so, it made me feel better about holding onto the loss. but there is some really good traders here in ff that make calls that are accurate allot of the times. also it never hurts to try to private message the person making the calls to find out really why think have that particular sentiment first before making your trade decision... if his/her opinion influences your directional bias.

Funny no one mentions all the purchases little belgium has been doing ever since the FED announced the taper lol.

But do not make the mistake of selling the other side in any USD cross especially the euro and such. Here is how it works ------------>>> the money is on a higher high. Today was volatility and tomorrow and probably until ECB is trend. You got to understand the money. We need to clean up before any surprises from Draghi as such we take the FOMC (plus the now sterilized NFP's) as priced in (if a shock we use it for retrace) and go for the higher high.

Of course if things shift more fundamentally states side we swing. Do not forget money follows the path of the highest returns we are capitalists not nationalists. In any case the market is not user friendly
