I m so surprise that break even ea and trailing ea r necessary code for trading. but no one can yet not dis-crib above ea what should be add or delete .

I note that this thread has been inactive for over a year now. I also note that "tigpips"; the author of this EA has also not posted anything on FF for over a year. So I know that it will be a long shot to get a reply to my question, but I'll ask it anyway.

I use this EA. It works very well at getting my stop into profit territory.

My question is this:

When the EA moves my stop loss to the input value "XpipsAboveBE", is there any way at that point to have the EA automatically place a trailing stop of xxx number of pips of my choosing?

The inputs could then look something like as follows:

Inputs...
Break_Even_After_X_Pips 100.0
XpipsAboveBE 20.0
Trail stop after XpipsAboveBE True/False
Trailing stop in pips 50.0
etc etc etc

The chart display for this EA should then show the trailing stop amount. Ideally it would also show if the TS has been activated or is still pending.

I know that there are tons of money management or trade management EA's/scripts out there, but they're all too complicated for an old guy like me. I like "tigpips" EA for its simplicity. Adding a trailing stop feature as above would make it perfect for me.

I need to get into the BE and TS value specific candle, for example H1 10:00. As at any time during the day to gain Size, Low, High some specific candle?
My simple suggestion is not working

Now on the TrailingStop and BreakEven use value of X, which partially substitutes the value of certain candles:

Where X can be used for following BE:

It would help me if I knew how to identify Low / High candles any Day or Week.

Hi everyone

I have been looking at the Breakeven EA's
Instead of moving stop loss to breakeven after X amount of pips, is there one, or can anyone code one, which moves the SL to breakeven when it is equal to the distance between the entry point and the stop loss

So, if I buy at 1.2222 and my stop loss is at 1.1111, then I want the SL to move to breakeven when the trade reaches 1.3333. As my trades have different size stop losses, going to breakeven after X amount of pips is not working.

As always, thanks in advance for any assistance, links to an appropriate Breakeven EA or script and to anyone willing to code this for me, which I have difficulty doing as I am visually impaired.

Hi fellas!
I recently found this ea on this forum and i am glad that it's according to my needs. One thing i want to ask is what should be the value of X_Amount_of_pips if i am using this ea on GBP/JPY. The problem is when i activate the ea and set the value to 50 (it's my desired value) it doesn't follow it and starts moving stop loss to BE after 20-22 pips. Anybody can help?

Anyone have EA which move the Breakeven profit pips dynamic to multiple level

For eg

From 10 pips Breakeven and Profit pips =5
Again the market move in my direction and i bought one more order and set the Breakeven for it. Once i hit 20 pips i want to move both the order Profit pips to same value that is 10 pips. If the market drop it will close both the order @ same Breakeven stop

Does the EA work with all pairs? I am using one already that doesn't support JPY pairs.

Breakeven EA version v1.3 supports yes jpy, is the configuration....

ex: 15pips = 1.5 start
9pips = 0,9 BE

How come this break even EA does not appear in my MT4 indicators/expert list? I have tried to paste this EA both in indicator and experts folder a few times
already I've tried it a few times already but to no luck. What am I missing. I hope someone can help. Thank you.

Can someone please add '100% hedge at xx pips' and 'hedge at atr (20)' to this ea?

It has one problem...If you activate the magic number then the ea will not trail the stop to break even..if you disable the magic number it will trail the stop to break even but you wont be able to trail you stop manually or automatically(the ea will fight the built in trail function built in mt4 --mt4 will trail automatically if you set i to then the ea will move the stop back over and over again) ..you have to go back into properties and activate magic number , but it's a bit o a pain if you trade on 1 min or have multiple trades open
