I read so many free eBooks. But it is always the same. Has anyone some good Books for free Or should i buy One?

what about The art and sciense of technical analysis by Adam H. Grimes. I have read it, altough it is not forex specific, i think its good read.
Lots of common sense stuff.

You wont find one book that will do justice on both subjects. The subject you really need to know is trading psychology.

I think you should start with "Trading in the Zone"by Mark Douglas. This IS the book and there is none that come close when it comes to trading psychology.

1: learn about forex market and the basics of trading
2: understand what it takes to become a successful trader (trading psychology books and a good coach of your choice)
3: start investigating more about the market. Strategies that work for others and begin to develop a strategy based on another or an original back-tested theory of market price
4. then move onto fundamentals. Begin integrating learned knowledge of the fundamental movement of price into your strategy and system. also look to build systems and strategies based around fundamentals using technical's as entry and exit criteria.

Ben, thanks for the pointer to Mark Douglas. I started at software signals and binaries and rapidly realised that is a mugs game...! Ended up here and am now half way through "Trading in the Zone" audio. Totally brilliant. My mind is altered. Thanks again.

I recently read forex pattern and probabilities by ed ponsi, which I found really useful to start. in particular I found the "fx-ed technique" described by the author to be really profitable if done with following the instructions.

I am also learning about fundamentals and following the news every day noticing how my understanding improves.

now I am looking for medium/long-term ranging strategies which is only covered briefely by Ed in his book.

any suggestions?

Would never buy books on Amazon, there are plenty of free guides, even better and effective of paid ones, based on generally adopted market theory with no specific bias narrowing your thinking..Get a grasp of basic things in forex, it is enough to work out your own market understanding..

Imho, the only book that is worth reading is Reminiscences of a Stock Operator. Hands down. I only became a successful trader after I unlearned EVERYTHING that I read from books based on forex. It is true that in this business, those that can't, teach and those that can, do. All the information you need to trade is on your charts. News reports, candle sticks, patterns, suppy/demand to me are a distraction.

The best thing I did was get Forex Tester and look at the chart with an open mind and watched tick by tick by tick. Boring? Maybe, but it did wonders for me. Jesse Livermore's way of trading by knowing the tape translates extremely well to forex. Look at the charts like how a child would and you'll see things not mentioned by any "guru".

Anna Couling Volume Price Analysis. It helps you find quality candlestick that tells you when the Smart Money are in.
Lance Beggs YTC Price Action Trader. It gives you a sensible and rational story on how to the market behaves and unfolds. Very price action oriented. Support and Resistance. Old school but fresh ideas.
David H. Weis Trades About To Happen. This book is based on Wycoff Theory of market manipulation. It tells you in my opinion of the market moves. How far will it move. If it fades what am I looking for to avoid getting trapped.

Trust me. I lost $20k but I've acquired a recession proof skilled.

I would also suggest Sthepen Briese Bible of Commitments of Traders (don't remember precise name). For those who focused on fundamental trading this would be a perfect choice. Exhaustive and in-depth guide to correct interpretation of COT reports (currencies are presented too)
