I reached 16k .... losing trades were very small. It should work when traded carefully...

I am following your thread.Thank you. I would like to clarify the meaning of your comment please. Did you mean that people would become less and less afraid of the S and R because of the number of previous touches, as in this example; or do you mean that it is changing across the market?

Hi Gonzol,

First touch seems to work the best. There are some exception as ranging market. It always depends on quality of SR. If we trade only the best ones (turning points) we get the best results. I didnt traded touches in my backtest. Iwas waiting for some kind of rejection. Even small wick to enter the positon because it allows me to decrease pip risk and increase RR potential of position.

Im dont feel comfortable trading touches with no confirmation. Let me explain in screen shots.

I can place my SL just below/above wick and risk only few pips. If you have any question you can ask me whatever....

When I cut losses and let winners run (moving SL aggresively) results are very good. I cant achieve very high win rate but winners are multiples of loosers. Im testing USDJPY at the moment. I started with losing streak, but it is not difficult to make it back when you loose small and win big. Sometimes it is frustrating (as any other trading system in DD period) but it goes northward. I find it easier to trade in reality than in forextester because Im more picky in reality which brings slightly better results.

It will take much time to backtest more pairs but my unconscious mind is improving its decision making...

Risk decreased very quickly. If I loose this trade it will be very small loss. It is beauty of this strategy. You can move your SL to logical level to decrease the risk. It is what makes us money. Cut losses and let winners run...
