Why do you complicate things. Use TweetDeck for News Break and add Forex Factory to the follow. Is updated in real time. Of course you can add more sources and get updated with no delay.
Not a bad idea but I am planning to use Feedly to monitor all news across multiple sources, basically the same with a bit more flexibility in feed aggregation than the NewsBrk indicator.

I have tried to use the icustom command but it dont works (it shows "initialising..." but dont load the calendar)

iCustom(NULL,0,"NewsCal-v107","",true,"CALENDAR",false,true ,1,240,48,1,1,0,0,0);

I have tried with all the buffers (0-7) without results

This indicator can't be used with iCustom(). It's not a good idea anyway. You don't want to be using a closed source indicators like this in your code. When it breaks you will be stuck waiting on me for a fix. Secondly, iCustom() really isn't suitable for this sort of data anyway. What I can do is post some code that you can use in your EA. Give me a few days to put it together.

I went to FF rss feeds and opened the breaking news rss feed from: rss.forexfactory.net/news/breakingnews.xml and found out that their website rss feed shows 24th October as the last data updated by the feed.
The feed is updating fine for me. You must be getting an old cached file for some reason.

Thanks for this beautiful indi which I am using since (along with one other News-Indi which I have mentioned in an other Thread also!! ) my beginning of trading live ...
May I like to come up with some helpful addition for this indi in case someone has the same need as I have.
I find it very useful to mark the important News with ARROWS in the chart to make my backtests easier.
I think this will help to save some time for everyone here.
It also helps to see where your system is undercut through important News as in my case my system works very fine if I stay out at important News.
Maybe with an additional LOOKBACK feature to make the backtests more handy.

If you have the time to make this additonal coding for this indi it would be very fine.

Very good indicator thank you very much for sharing.

I have experience of using this indicator, it may be useful for those of you who have the same problem with me. Previously I disable IE in windows me with setting up the connection by using a proxy (proxy settings are not correct). Both indicators indicate the error file but after confirming an internet connection in IE the result like the picture below. Hopefully my experience is useful.

Yes This indicator could be really usefull to act as a filter for EA that are trading the news... So we won't have to check it up everyday...EA would be allowed to trade 1 min before news and 3 min after it.... then waiting for the next event.

indicator is awesome but i have little problem its working fine but not showing vertical lines .. i have already enable it but still not showing.

This EA uses FFCAL to disable trades.
The current version I have installed is euclid 15 april 2011.
I noticed there are many topics about FFcal, and even multiple programs called FFcal but different.
Some older topics pointed to this one.

Can someone point me to where I can find the latest version??
Is this the more developed version of that ea, which displays the news info on the charts in MT4?

Yes, I placed mine in the opposite corner by changing the horizontal value to 1000 and the vertical value to 400

I downloaded your newest indicator for market times but it does not show up in the lest of custom indicators in my FSDD MT4 custom indicators list. Any suggestions?

You certainly not copied it in the right folder.

In the new builds (600+), the folders for indicators and experts were moved in another location in your computer. To find the folders, open your new platform, then click File > Open Data Folder > MQ4 ... then in the MQ4 folder you will find the experts and indicators folders. Once your tools in the right folders, restart the platform.
