Lost a trade on CHFJPY. I was kind of weary of these trades, I had swiss frank short in 3/7 of the orders I sent yesterday. But from the objective information I have, it's one of the weakest/most vulnerable currencies at the moment. I only put on 3/5ths of the full position for some reason, I can't remember why.
TIP: when I look at this trade on a chart I see that I was stopped out by a fraction of a pip before the trade reversed. You absolutely cannot afford to care about things like this when dealing with the uncertainty in trading. In fact, I would recommend against reviewing your trades on a chart. The two things you need to think about are the setup, and the outcome (win or lose).

Winning is nice, I like winning.
This was kind of like a standard "bread and butter" trade for me. On paper it looks pretty marginal, compared the other potential trades that never came to fruition, like gbpjpy long. A while ago I learned that the most obvious, no-brainer trades are the least likely positions to get into, and you make most of your money on trades like this, that are only somewhat better than mediocre.
For reference: I had a limit buy for gbpjpy at 170.03, and it looked like the best trade I could possibly make yesterday. It was only 20 pips bellow the market price at the time, yet I didn't get filled. Does this mean I mispriced gbpjpy? No, It just means that the mass market did not misprice gbpjpy, because it was obvious.
