What are the PROs thinking today. Here is a selection that every trader should have in their magazine rack, not next to the rather curiously named "Entries and Exits for the Beginner" something I bought online thinking it was a trading magazine which some how is still in my magazine rack.

First of all my compliments for the excellent thread I am trading 1-2-3 at support & resistance with good results,looking at the above reports, I was interested in the Credit Suisse report, do you have to register to have it? do you subscribe a fee to receive it daily? eventualy could you please indicate the link ? many thanks for the info.

Couple of news trades for me today.
I waited for NFP to pass and entered on continuation of the news movement
Both ej and gj showed divergences on M15 as well.

EJ +60 News NFP. One of those reports that you should stay out of until the chickens realise that the fox is on the other side of the fence. UP Down Up Down I was beginning to feel sea sick, when the result misses the consensus figure by very little, sit back and wait, eventually when the pro traders have all finished phoning each other and asking "what does it mean, oh! I am buying, WHAT? oh my god did you say your selling!!!!"

I found it on another site that I subscribe to, but looking at the CS main site it appears that you either need to be a customer of CS Bank or be approved as a non client by one of their analysts.

I like your style, cool, calm and collected Where as, I had to leave the room, watching the price go up and down made me want to join in, it looked like it would be so much fun to play along.

I've been trading these news setups with success, have to stay out of the initial release, there is almost always
a pullback on the same H1 candle, then I just join in for the continuation as where the initial release taken the price
just as it can be seen on your uj H1 chart
For the ej trade I entered at the exact same price you did on M15.
Too bad I had to cut my trades short today and go to get my hair done,
gj went down 100 pips to previous support (left) where I expected it all along.
Note on the H1 chart the cross I highlighted where both TDI green and red cross MBL at the 68 level,
that's one of my favorite tdi setups and can produce big pips and a move back down to 32 level.
I like news days , it can move your trade relatively fast to your tp levels, like it did today for gj.

very slow start to NY session today
ej H1 multiple 123s, exited trade out manually for +48
similar situation on gj H1 , minutes after I closed the trade it would had hit my 70 pips target level.
overall pips but had no more patience.

Nice Trades Dee, I just have one question , I always try to learn from your style where do you place your stops and take profit, for the EU trade I see that the trade has the opposite directions from stop loss and take profit, is that right ?

Hi Ya All. I did not take a single trade last week after tuesday, Harvest time in the olives and planting time in my Market garden. But it does not mean I was not thinking of you!

Hi, sorry I have taken so long to respond. I generally place my SL a couple of pips below/above the 3 point unless the pullback to 3 was so deep then I place my SL below/above the 1 point. I am looking for a 1:1 RR minimum and a minimum return of 30 pips, if I can not see at least 30 pips potential I do not take the trade. Thanks Dee for the explanation , but the strange thing in EU trade that the stop loss location is in the inverse of the take profit location , the blue dash refers to take profit and the red dash refers for stop loss , is that correct ?

No. The red dash is always at the top and the Blue dash at the bottom regardless of whether the trade is long or short, or at least on my charts. I had the same problem for a while, trying to work out what they were for.

EU +40. UJ +30 +16. Couple of small ones today, I was not sure if I should throw them back in. EU 1hr 123 short. Tp was confluence at the bottom of 1hr channel, nearly got my trailing SL. UJ 123 long CT to TP at BRN. Then I could not resist a quick scalp short off the Pin Bar back to the TL that started the day.

it seems that it's related to MT4, I have MT4 build 625 and the stop loss is always red dash while blue dash is always take profit no matter what the trade is buy or sell, what's more important that you end up with green pips.....
