I have created a new thread for this called "FX Prime Revisited". Unfortunately, my PC with all my indis is off for the evening so will post them up tomorrow. Hopefully, we can get this going again albeit with quite a few tweaks and amendments.

I have attached: how I have modified fx prime (infamous version 2) and combined it with THV V4.

I'm doing it, because I feel like I own You guys this. What exactly? - would be a good question. I own You basically everything what I have learn and done about Forex. This thread - which I had read all,- made me know so much, that I feel, reading other posts written for instance in my mother language,- like an expert. Really. People here gave their passion, their experience, their love for what they are doing. From the beginning it"s really good lecture, of course later on, things turn into dramatic way - which gives to it even more drama.. Hopefully this system will rise as a one of the best in history. In my case - combination, which I have made,- fx prime is working

What I've attached is 1h graph, which I use for main trend check. If it shows long, I enter only long at 5 min chart (which also have the same indicators system implied), and opposite. This system has arrows, sound signals... Only what You need to do is discipline, enter when candles don't have huge wicks and at the beginning of 1h trend changing. I play at 3-4 four currency pairs, and thanks to sound signals I can easy "watch" them all and enter when all indicators are met. How simply is that?

Sounds cool, but I don't see, from your attached picture, how you have combined the two systems...? :-)

I'm using THV V4 mainly for "THV V4 Info" and table which shows when New York and London market ends. I'm not using any of THV V4 strategy, it's just for template mainly. However, I think that THV V4 is also great.

Only thing is basically: moving averages (arrows) confirmed by this "magic" fx primeV2 indicator (You can see down below this indicator) and my strategy to enter the market when 5m trend is following 1h trend (the same: arrow and "magic" fx primeV2 - which is nothing more like RSI and CCI - fx prime V1).

The reason why I'm using fx prime V2 is, I didn't want to steer whole day at meta trader and analyse. I was looking for the easiest way. As much automatic as possible. So, this method suits me very well. When I hear the sound, I'm checking what is happening and decide weather enter the market or not.

Somehow FxprimeV2 can filter - not always, but extremely often, I can say enough for me,- "bad trades".

And one more thing: I do not watch and wait when exit position. Just set stop loss and take profit - according to my account and money management system. And of course don't forget about world,- especially country which are influenced by currencies at which you play,- events.

To be honest, If You will be strict with this rules - I don't believe You won't make money.

has this thread been sabotaged? The indicators and templates from the original post don't match the one's that I download. Also, the templates that others have loaded look completely different than on my screen than in the picture (yes I DLed all the indicators)

They both look good, even though I've been hesitant in using TRIX before due to the negative stuff I've heard about it before. The one with TRIX seems easier to work with moreover as it's also seeming to give less conflicting signals even at M5.

I have to say that the one with the trix is a good start but I am still putting the whole thing together. There are a few things this chart is not showing. I want to identify the flat zones too, to better trade and make decisions. I am doing this for quite a while now, so I am confident that I can put something good together.
Try out the trix yourself and maybe it's not as bad as you heard.
What I am definitely not going to do is to lose those band. In my experience they are like support and resistence and also show the direction.

Hey san99,

here is the new setup that I have. Check out the indicators and the picture. The indicator in the bottom shows green up and red down. This one is not perfect yet, but I am still working on it to replace with different one. When the triangle is up, that means that a downward trend is occuring, when triangle is down, that means a upward trend is occuring. When the triagles appear very often next to eachother, then the currency is very choppy and you better not trade. Tell me what you think. I still have to test it, but it looks promising.

Hey san99,

here is my "new Setup". As you can see, I eleminated a few old indicators and added a few new ones. The old setup wasn't quite working for me, and as you said, it used some power from the CPU and mage it slower. I found that the Nihilist indicators are not quite fitting my style and some slowing down the CPU too.
Check out the pic that I uploaded.
My strategy is a profit of only 20 pips per trade. Why only 20? Because 20 pips is a reasonable profit. My daily profit limit is $50. The more profit you want, the riskier it gets. What I do is to increase the lots and not the pips to raise more profits. Set yourself a limit and stick to it. As soon as you hit your daily target, close your trading floor and walk away. That sound silly, but you become a better trader. The same for your losses. Hit the limit and walk away, or you lose even more money. Trust me when I say tomorrow comes again!!!
Everybody has to develop their own strategy. The higher the timeframe, the more pips you can get with less risk by avoiding the fluctuations of the market. You just have to wait longer.
The important aspect of trading is that you don't have to take every trade. Most people do this and lose big or a lot of money. Trading comes down to emotional and psychological practice of yourself. And you have to follow your system.

Thanks for your work and posting this DirkH143, appreciate it. I completely agree with you on your thoughts about trade management, and in fact I too have the same style of targeting a set dollar amount for my daily profit. That type of consistency works for me and prevents over trading and emotional trading. Otherwise I end up overextending myself, which causes me to place bad trades. Your new template is loading much quicker but some of the indicators are not showing up (ie., coloring). I will have to look into that further, but I like the shot and analysis in it that you have posted - good guide!
