Closed usdjpy long several hours ago. It was going nowhere. Scalping uj and eu since morning. Now waiting for a new set-up.

Big mistake. Forgot to reset stoploss on a scalp.

A 100-unit testing long trade before fomc hit its stoploss.

Lesson learned: There are no quick profits in this game. One has to wait, wait and wait.

Wondering how precisely it followed the fibo levels on each retrace. Looks like many automated trades are taken at fibo levels forcing price to react precisely at these points. This alone should be an edge for many

Here is the justification for this scalp. TP and SL have few pip cushion from the intended levels. This is all based on 50% fib levels.

Have removed my trade explorer, cannot re-set the date.

This account has been re-set to $500 but I cannot custom start explorer with this clean slate.

Anyway, this explorer had witnessed so many experiments that data was useless.

Solved explorer problem. This is a new sub account with starting $500 balance.
Took one pip trade to activate the explorer.


A pending buy at 1.3744 (two pips above the 50% fib level of the following move). The next buying level is around 1.3721

Also note that the first level (1.3742/44) is based on a long-term 50% fibo (indicated by two yellow arrows). Pa earlier bounced from very close to this first level but not exactly. Therefore one should keep sl wide enough to let it bounce from the next level (1.3721)

Waiting for my order to trigger. Here is the game plan. It should and it will bounce off from the marked level. The only thing I don't know is .........for how many pips.

It did bounce about 25 pips, but got stopped out. Repeatedly longed, but stopped out.

Long again, this time, heavy position with tight stoploss. Once it shows profit of 2% or more, will reduce the position size.

The next level to go long is near 1.3720
