Series of bull / bear bars are useful for determining the "momentum" in smaller time frame for scalping.

Is there any indicator that shows an alert or symbol when there are three (or four,five etc) consecutive bars which each close is higher than the previous high. ( like Three white soldiers pattern/ three black cows pattern).

But for me, the current close higher / lower than the previous close is enough, no need to higher / lower than the whole candle.

I used Pattern recognition / Pattern recognition master but seems they cannot truly reflect what I want.

Can you please give more details on what exactly you look out for.
Is a close higher than the previous close enough, or does it need to close higher then the previous candle?
Maybe you can write a list of thins that need to occur to give a valid pattern with all details.
Plus for what system are you looking? MT4 or MT5 or something else?

Hello fxdaytrader, thanks so much, I especially like the sound alert & arrows. it will be better if size of the pattern will also be one of the parameter.

This is a great indicator but the alert repeats over and over, is there a way of adding code so the indicator sends an alert once then stops, because at the minute if its on an hour chart the alert will repeat for the full hour

this indicator is fabulous, you should only change the maximum number of candles allowed, because it seems that it counts maximum 9. I wish I could program at least up to 16 consecutive candles. thank you

It draws arrow one candle back and if to change it to current candle then results are not the same. Right?

Why tester gives other results than in live? This kind of indicator can't repaint if it just calculates consecutive candles as author ment ??

This pattern interests me, can anyone program this indicator or a new one to highlight the Bearish candle that precedes the 3 consecutive highs
and the opposite the Bullish candle that precedes the 3 consecutive lows ?
