Very much like Engulfing in the opposite direction.

I need to be more specific with my Exit rules/approach (need to put some down on paper)

also, remember to look at the higher TFs for S&R areas.....now I have a 1m red arrow and I am waiting for a sell confirmation........

I do look at it but need to learn to deal with "uncertainty" better

I suppose a great deal of it comes from seeing it happen over and over and over again.Year after year

Experience is definitely not something you can buy.Guys like you and Strada make it look so simple

Winter creeping in here in SA so will have plenty of back testing time

Here's another overview.....

My "initial sell" in GU was just that, taken early in case of a swift sell off, BUT against the 5m 25 ema (1m 125ema) or two parts of my old Three Dragons set up ....also, the M30 stoch had not yet turned down.....remember, the safer entries are when the higher TF's confirm the signal in the lower TFs....

Someone will almost certainly tell me I was on the wrong pair today, but I'd started on GU and don't like switching.
It was one of those nip'n'tuck days and the last trade was going to be my last G1m trade before switching to recovery mode, in fact I think I was already in recovery mode mentally but the trade went so well decided to run it as normal.
So I'm sure Islander will agree, days like today are far from simple, it isn't so much about years of experience as it is about a sound trading strategy with well-founded rules and realistic expectations. And this has to include a plan for when you're in a hole. Very, very important, this is probably where most people lose accounts.
Btw, my exit for trade trade 3 was simply a 1 pip lower than the 8.09 bar close after the bounce away from R1.

Its has been a bit jittery on my side but like you always say:"some days are better than others"

Another excellent post that will help all followers of this thread - especially those who prefer the Genesis model

I also think that we chose the best pair for the action so far.....with UJ flat I stayed away from the yen crosses, and as I am not up to speed with EurAud, so far GU has been a good choice.

It is sad news that RJ is stopping support and contribution in his "Genesis" thread. I have learned a lot from his thread and there is no doubt that there are many people who does not read the full thread and then ask simple question again and again.

I wish RJ, very good luck in his trading. I also hope that he will take his decision back at some time and will start his contribution again.

Islander contributed an excellent comment to the genesis thread only to experience some negativity not warranted to someone so extremely talented and helpful. New traders will always ask the same simple questions and its my belief patience and understanding should be a common virtue among us. I also wish RJ the best of luck and I owe him a ton for all the expertise he provided.

Thanks for answering that so&so on Genesis. I wanted to give her a piece of my mind too but still can't post on that thread.

I am not sure who died and made her Queen of the thread, she is one of the oldies that Islander referred to not contributing anything useful to the thread.

Yeah, When I read and re-read Islander's post, I was at a loss to understand FOMs response. I am not sure how she could take offense to what was posted.

Not my best trading

First jumping in before the FO

Then not waiting for the DP to break to go long(same as yesterday)

Made it out alive though with - 0.4 which is ok seeing how I messed it up a bit today.

Have some work to do today but from next week the FO and LO will have my full attention.

Hope you guys did better than me
