Where is Schickeria?

He got lost, when Uli Hoeneß went to court and jail.......

Is Schickeria = Uli? Inquiring minds want to know......


Or is Schickeria preparing the jailbreak of Uli Hoeneß in underground?

the way I see it atm;


euro bulls still sitting at 1.390x and would aim for 1.408x - support at 1.386x/4x if 0x slips..

cable bulls from 1.658x have already tested 1.665x next area at 1.674x - support at 1.643x if 8x slips..

dax bears from 929x would aim for 911x - resistance at 936x/955x if 9x slips..

Yeah, I stayed out of it for the day. Went long on E/U and NZD/USD well in profit and made a horrible mistake not to take profit before FOCM. Profit turned to red numbers now. If the trend will be broken (like E/U under 1,38), I have to get out. Really stupid to leave this, since everybody was expecting a dovish statement. Of course the opposite happened.

Aha. Not a bad move

Especially content with UChf, might take profit soon. UJ short looks like it might get s/o, but there's a long target @102.52, if it reacts, I might add.

EU: first pending long waiting at 3831... oops, just filled while writing.

AUDNZD: could have missed a perfect setup, while waiting for a larger tf one...

here we go..

ehm, would have preffered the bullside with euro/cable to be honest, but at least we're breaking the range.. dax bears at 929x held and aiming for 911x, lets see if they can manage that..

Yeah, that was what most people expected, including me I guess. My trading was getting better over the past weeks and I also managed to start making good profits on my account. Until today ... NZD and EUR longs were good in the green, then I thought ... oh ok, what can they say there at the FOCM, usual blabla, I just continue to hold them ... I am right here to close positions in worst case ... haha. Because I was in the room, I did not put a fix SL and just one moment of not being aware ... Ok, lesson learned: TAKE YOUR DAMN PROFITS BEFORE THE FED NEWS!!! You are just not fast enough to close manual on such a move.

The only good thing is, that the trends have not been broken technically so far and I think that the market's reaction was totally exaggerated from a sensible and fundamental point of view. Nothing really changed at the FED. I think any of you guys would say not a big matter, because I did not really lose much in terms of currency, but it is always a drawdown I have work on for days and weeks to repair on my micro account. Maybe it is good that it happened again to remind me of my weak spots. I will be back. Happy trading everyone, watch your stops ^^

In my (limited) experience it's nearly impossible to predict the reaction to news, and in most of the cases you'll have spikes in the other direction, too. So it is better never to assume. What would you do if EU slips another 200 pips tonight? Not very probable, but not impossible.

Hi Larry, thanks for your sympathy. In general this thread here is a big help for me and I have already learned a lot from the way you, Ken, Schick and the others trade here. True, I pay much attention to fundamentals, because I am also interested in the world. Correlation of crosses is something I just began to understand, and it helps me a lot now. The psychological aspect of trading is often neglected. I do not trade news, but this time I thought: Ok, trends are intact and the FED will probably say nothing new/priced in already. Big mistake, because I allowed a risk that was not so easy to manage. The art is to make this kind of risk management a habit, because even if you are not stupid and know this, you can only adapt what you know by experience. Nobody is totally free of bias or expectations while trading, so the right decisions have to come automatic.

If EUR moves another 200 pips down, I will have been stopped out a long time ago

Asia took it slow...

UChf: didn't quite reach my tp, so still waiting for it.
UJ: closed short manually in the rush yesterday, don't know if this was a mistake. I still have pending longs further below, but somehow it could be that FOMC was a game changer, and this would mean longs from now on, and a test below 100 won't happen. Let's see next week.
EU: put a s/l on my long @ the low from yesterday, first t/p at 3856. Some shorts still under water, so no new ones till a break of 3784.
GU: two small positions filled @6527 and 6519, s/l set. Pending short @6697, don't expect this to be filled during the next days...
EA: no change of plan.
AU: first small (additional) long triggered @9010, but expect some lower ones to get filled as well.

Don't know about the reaction in equities, not enough to support my theory (game change s.o.).

shit happens, you can't be on the right side on every move.. scaling out is a good option, that way you're reducing your risk and you become more objective instead of hoping etc... just forget about this move and focus on the next setup.. 90 % of the profit comes from 10 % of your trades , this is a pretty good saying IMO..

eu is tricky today, prolly wont touch it.. I have some R at 1.386x but don't know if the rejection of 1.380x is legit atm..

nice catch on cable.. would like to see a test of 1.665x or 1.643x - don't think it's going to happen today though..

the dax is also tricky - the thing is, its pretty hard to know if the move was a pullback to a continuation or a new direction.. thats why I see bears from 929x and bulls from 911x - both areas are valid until one of them goes..
