Out of general interest: how do you manage stops there, there are some freaky gaps in the charts?

yes, market open just for 6-7 hours that's why the gaps it's an extra risk, they can indeed be large, currently stops @ 21.000 while 21.180 is (imo) most important support

you can use other brokers if you wanna have prices around the clock..

aha, didn't know there are any, well it's kind of comfort not being able to trade around the clock, during most of opening I sleep, just in the last 2 hours of trade I manage my positions

ahh, that makes sense and I get your points.. but the way I understood it , they make there prices based on the other index, so kind of an average or so.. the spread is also higher those hours, but I like the idea of having a "guarenteed" stop..

it's not futures, they just quote their own price judged by the other index', so they make some kind of average I guess..

anyway I'm not 100 % sure how they get the price, I just know you're allowed to trade 24 hours a day..

I didn't know that not sure I want to trade the broker in-house quotes. Probably safe for small amount.

you have a much more flexible position IMO.. you don't have to worry about your stop getting gapped in the morning, you don't have to trade those odd hours ofc..

it's the Hang Seng Index, spread is fixed @ fxcm 15 pips

sorry not sure, it must be something different, HS50 says something like sharian based stocks (whatever that is)....

HS50 = HSI

I check on the companies listed on HKSE are the same 50 companies probably listed outside HK, not sure didn't check.

HSI and HS50 are operating on different market hours. HS50 is probably on Europe and US-Canada or following CME http://www.cmegroup.com/

E/A is crawling up ... but A/U found support. Will watch this ping pong and maybe get out with a small win. Also added NZD/USD long. Good chance to risk ratio.
