Same idea, but my levels look different?
I would like to understand Whipsaw Engulfings more. It has to do with momentum and bull/bear trap concept, yes?
Another, major question for me is the choosing what instrument to trade any given week or day. In terms of my top-down "pilots" check-list, this seems a decision to make before looking for trade setups. Do you look Friday night or Monday morning at which instruments to focus on the following week? Is it based on M or W charts? Looking at calendar for the week and seeing what might be moving?
It seems that on certain days there are different agendas, where a particular currency is in focus to be bought or sold. Knowing what is strong or weak, i.e. bought or sold on a particular day, makes it easier to combine currency cross and then finally focus on trade setups for entry as a way of optimizing and managing risk only.
Do you follow my train of thought (i hope) ?

I believed Yen weakness would see this go higher, but got suckered instead. {image} {image} Btw, may I ask what screen-capture tool you're using to make the annotations. I like the curved arrows
Here is my CADJPY trade. My RR was less than 1. so it was not a good trade.

I didn't see the TL or the mid-level (green on your chart). So, my perspective was geared for Price to reach the supply level above.

Besides that, if I just look at your chart I dont' see the significance of that level.
Aside from that, just to know, the dotted lines correspond to a particular tf candle close? Purple looks like daily in this instance. Blue H4

Here is the Alpari chart you use. Take a look at it. (Sometimes I check different charts like Alapri.)
