{quote} Sorry 786, went on the road and just got back in? Ok firstly, if you are trading the H4 naked as you have it here, the first question is whats taking place on the daily... -> what presently is the dominant trend? -> if H4 is doing opposite, check daily to see why...example, did buyers just break a high/swing high? if so we can anticipate a pullback, keeping in mind this ...

Based on your reply, I am trying to analyze the chart. So this is USDJPY 4 H chart.
I market two swings. and draw fibs on them.
Now on top marked area when bull targets met, can it be good area to wait for short opportunity here?

Thanks.

Yes 786, that is a good trade plan! And if price is stalling above resistance, long levels or highs, these are good areas to go long up to that target.

Hi Simoneg,

Please review my analysis if I have correct procedure.
This is GBPUSD 4H chart. When candle #1 closed, I thought that up move is finished as it made kind of pin bar or rejection bar; so I put a sell stop order low of this candle. But before clicking it I cancel the order and reanalyze it with fib;
I noticed that it is actually stalling above swing long level so it is setup to go long not to short.
So for me now chart is looks bullish and long setup here instead of short;

Is that correct?
And also check if I selected swing high/low correct

This is just regular Fib retracement indicator but levels are modified. You can find the levels from first thread.

Hi Simoneg,

One more question. Here is chart of GbpJpy;
suppose last two candles are not there. Then the 3 candles before these two first break high then break low of High swing and third candles could not go above it. Can it be short setup signal? I went short on it and as you can see my stop-loss hit which is not issue as losses are part of this business. But I just want to know if my method and procedure is correct or not?

Thanks.

Hi seekerz, its not an indicator, just modify the levels on your fib retracement tools to match those in the first thread.

Hi 786, I am not quite seeing why you went short. You seem to like trading pinbars, if so, there is a better way to trade them. Otherwise, no short trade/setup on your chart

Currently +151pips on these longs, but price is climbing lazily into the dreadful NFP, so I don't know. My first ej long was stopped +1pip yesterday so I re-entered at same level. Both trades protected +1pip.

This trade looks good for long 786, with watch area being the swing resistance.

Happy and safe trading all. Not pushing much more until after NFP, so it looks like next week. Have a great rest of week and weekend!
