Great work Shellsnail, Hopping, Spyderman, and all who contributed in my lengthy absence! Looks like things are kinda quiet, but this type of method is not for everyone. I just wanted to at least give the method a chance to be seen by the community since LR's thread was canned into the commerical section. Was hoping someone would pick up the ball and run with it.

I absolutely hated to bail on this thread, but had little other choice. My wife's parents bought a 30 acre farm that was in need of rehab to get it running again which required MONTHS of work, including harvesting, weeding, etc. We hope to be moving onto the farm as well in the coming year, so we've also been busy fixing up our own place for resale.

I am currently trying to work on the Equity Millipede strategy in another thread, but will continue to monitor progress here. Is anyone still doing this method?

she uses all tfs mo wky d1 to h1..

and her push pull setups, are really identifying stop hunts and cashing in, after a TL or SR break.. Genius

10XROI Condensed Version from page5 of this tread
1. Setups occur in the form of a "Push/Pull" candle pattern (see examples at beginning of thread) and are found ONLY on the Daily Charts for this system. A condition of STRONG MOMENTUM is a prerequisite and must be identified to validate the candle pattern. The 3SMA and 10SMA's are the primary tools used to identify strong momentum is present for a VALID Push/Pull patter. Additional trade "context" factors are desireable and are described in the first posts.
2. Once a setup is identified, you will then seek an entry on the H1 chart into the direction of the momentum from the D1 setup. The nature of the Push/Pull candle pattern is that it prompts you to begin looking for an entry ONLY after a PULLBACK has occured against a PUSH of strong momentum. The idea is to get a tight stop H1 entry at a place where price is likely to RESUME it's momentum in the original D1 direction.
3. Use whatever technicals you prefer, such as trendilne breaks, pivot candle breaks or whatever entry method of your choice you think will give you a tight stop. Tight stop = 40 pips or less. Keep in mind that you are looking for a 10R return. So, if you have a 40 pip stop, the market will have to move 300 pips in your favor. If your stop is only 15 pips, you will only need a profit of 150 pips. The tighter the stop, the better the chance of success at 10R.
4. Once in the trade, do not move your stop to BE until after the first significant hourly pullback. This is a bit subjective, but a proper pullback should be more than just a 3 or 4 candle fractal.
5. Your TP should be set at 10 times your initial risk, or a profit factor of 10R.
6. If the pair you are trading has a low ADR, then you may want to shoot for 8R instead of 10R.
7. Rinse and repeat.

Guys, let me help you a little. One can substaintially INCREASE the RR by averaging the price at the SL direction. It is a simple math from the third class, where you get the average of on array of numbers. Using this 2RR can turn into 3RR, even higher!

One famous trader advised not to average your losses. That is a BS! Average EVERYTHING.

Forex is a game of SLs. Not profits. Averaging, makes it about two to three times more harder for forex to collect your SLs! It does also bring a lot higher profits, when the direction is set right! Remember, smaller losses and bigger profits! That is what averaging is all about...

went long at 1521 sl 1510 tp 1570 the usd zar after parabolic move down and push pull at support ( I think lol )

For my longterm trading i use this strategy and have read the ebooks about this strategy (now also in german avaible).
I use the H4 to enter in the trade, because i am mostly busy with family and realtime job.

The rules are simple to understand and no fancy indicators are exploding my chart. Yes! You must do the homework and draw the lines.

Beside my scalping method this is a really good for longterm trading.
