It did not take long to figure this out... when I started trading last year I read through these threads and often came up with a big confusion resulting in losses, because I did not stick to my own plan because I thought some "experienced guys" knew it better. Some people know what they do, but most of them is so biased and hung up in this whole bulls-bear thing that it is ridiculous. On the other hand, a lot of them being around in the market means that I will have a real chance in given time

Well, I really appreciate this threads and the help you provide, being objective and considering the current situation in the market. Hm, trading Crosses on multiple screens ... I only own a decent Notebook ... isn't it enough to look at different charts? I mean, I do not have to be a scalper, as long as I learn I have to do other work as well anyway, so my main targets are on bigger time frames for now.

Sure one screen is enough but don't ever try to trade the daily noises because there are many things you need to watch to scalp daily noise. You can learn from Schic only enter trade at pre-determined levels.

I try to skip the daily noise by rarely viewing something smaller than 1 hour except for better entries and PA at important levels. When I go for a scalp, it has to be at important support- or resistance levels and with the fitting PA, so I can set a tight stop. But I mostly enjoy getting a really good setup that can just run for days. I will try to get an entry on a currency which provides a good swap at one point, it just does not look like that during the next time. The Aussie will probably go down further, AUD/JPY is already very high in the monthly range, and NZD/USD is really hard to predict for me.

Hickson concentration is the key. You should begin with one pair to trade. only one pair. Create your own plan for entry and your exit and your SL.

Watch other what they are thinking..... If you see some possible ideas, like yours enter the trade and enjoy. If it's going against you, close your trade and watch for better entrys and make always your plan B if it's going against you. Often it's better to close a loss trade with loss and watch for fresh entrys with a normal money managemant. Loosing is normal and that is not the problem. The main problem is not to close your looser entry!!!

Today was a perfect day for me.

Entry @ 1.36431 (wave 1 has the same distance of wave 5)

I'm using 3 systems to create my analysis. If all my 3 analyses are different i don't enter a trade. WAITING is the best analysis, if you uncertain.

Your next probably entry will come - for sure - only what you need to wait ! I think @ FF 80% are trading a demo account that is the problem.

Good morning.

I would very much like this to be NOT a friday, but well... Still have my EU shorts running, shifted the stops a bit. Have an additional pending short placed in GU @6717 with a tight stop. Looking at UJ, but will probably delete the pending long.

I think GU is going to 1.6847/55 (1.68491 = 161.8%) for a drift down. atm 1.6717 is a good sell point - may be you get stoped out. Einen Versuch ist es wert.

dax got rejected at 959x -so bulls might give it a try.. looking at sp, it closed above resistance, maybe a re-test of 1849.x - don't know really, I don't trade it, but keeping an eye on it.. anyway fridays tend to be less reliable, at least for me, so waiting until next week..

I'm not sure in this scenario, i want only to sell if we reach 1.6849 zone

We will see. Just now I see that I placed the entry at 67175, borker shows 176 but no fill. Frankie isn't over yet, so: waiting.

Won't trade it, either. With my rm/mm I have to wait for clearer confirmation or the overshoot to way beyond 10000.

cable is a beast, usually trade it with larger s/l, but not in this situation. Worth a try, and no real harm done. Will wait for monday/tuesday with gu.

lol, dax is the biggest beast.. but cable can be wild too, 25 pips at S/R is usually enough in my case, sometimes you'll get spiked(or stopped lol), but what the hell.. you can't be right everytime..

Hi Schickeria,

I think everything you said makes a lot of sense. Might be a good idea to pick up one pair and analyse it with PA, Fib-Levels and Elliotwaves at the weekend when the market is closed. The good entries need patience, that is for sure. If you are trading demo you can talk a lot about how great your trading is and blablablabla ... I think I will avoid to spend too much time in the major threads for now haha.
