I did not understand your question... Indicator to edit what? There is a supply and demand indicator attached in the first email (zip file), not created by me but by Insanities Industries some time ago, it has certain limitations. I made some modifications though. That's what we're referring to.

Hey Alfonso,

Is it possible to share the mq4 file of the supply and demand indicator that you have edited, so we can edit the code to add other functions?

Hi Alfonso

I have been studying your reply regarding GOLD and have been trying to follow your logic on my chart. I have a live account with Alpari (UK) and my prices are different to yours? I appreciate that the price is not likely to be the same across ALL brokers but the price that is different for me is the high on 18/2/14. My highest price was 1332.010 It looks like yours peaked just above 1339.95. This seems to be a significant difference. ( I have checked prices on a few other platforms on the net and yours seems to be the only one reaching this level) This level seems fundamental to your explanation. IF the price was only as high as 1332.010 would this change your view?

I am using IC Markets... SPOT Gold, not CFDs. If I use .GOLD instead of XAUUSD then prices will be different. Like I said I am using XAUUSD spot gold.I've checked out prices with other brokers and they are very similar, so maybe you are using CFD or futures.

Hmmm.

I'm using XAUUSD also. I am just surprised that there is such a difference in price. I cross referenced the other turning points on your chart and mine and they are all very close. It is just that one spike that is so different. Maybe your broker had more Retail Stop orders at that price that they needed to trigger

I will have to make my analysis on MY chart with MY broker's prices

Anyone else, on other platforms, have a high of 1339.95 on XAUUSD on 18th Feb 2014? just curious

1339.86 on XAUUSD. Refresh your price on MT4 to see if it will be different. Up top, go to tools, then history center and choose XAUUSD and download. Or talk to your broker. Those are your choices.

I've not originally created the SupDem indicator, it was Insanties Industries... You can read instructions of SudDem indicator here... Instructions are plain and not too much help, but those are the official docs I am not using the automatic one because it has some flaws, if you want to use it you have to know which are those.

Live for a bit more than 1 year, now exclusively supply and demand even. Yes, those ones are valid. Remember those indicators do not work 100% as per the rules. They do not detect levels that have removed opposing SD zones, it does not take into account the 50% rule for bases, it does not detect CP patterns amongst other things. It does a great job but you need to know its limitations, when to use it and when not to use it. My version is working with other tools I've developed so I can't share it, sorry. The one Rami attached should suffice. You will have levels painted before they are validated (minimum RR is not calculated, the higher TF trend is not taken into account), you have to do that homework before deciding to take any of those levels.
