Offline charts are still working with 610
I just checked the PeriodConverter script that comes with the platform and the offline chart is getting updated

Hi My Friend, this indicator compiled with MT4 build 604, what is your MT4 build version ?, If it is already build 604 or higher it should work normal, maybe you can try to re download it again..

I started to work again with the bigger brick size, and Im agree with you it's all psychological. I have to get the habit to see a losing position beecoming a winning one.

I added two indicators on your Template to help me as I'm a visual guy and need clear and clean informations to trade. I will share it if I manage good results with this Template.

Yes My Friend, it still work ok, because your offline chart builder mq4 files compiled with previous MT4 build. But if you have offline chart builder mq4 file and try to compile it with MT4 build 610, then you can't use the ex4. So, that why i suggest to keep your older MT4 build 604 to use it for compiling your mq4 files, especially if you have any kind of offline chart builders mq4 files.

Hi My Friend, I know this FileOpenHistory new Flags and already implemented that from the beginning and also use only one FileFlush at the end of the loop process, and change the other with FileWriteStruct, I know this new offline file read/write procedure, the problem is not there, but from user32.dll. The new B610 compiler 'manipulate' RegisterWindowMessageW in the compiler level, so the mq4 file will compile without any errors, but the ex4 result file will become 'blind' and can't create any offline hst file. I hope this is only 'temporary' bugs and MQ will fix it soon..

But if we compile the mq4 file with previous build 604 compiler, then the ex4 file will work normally in MT4 build 610, so that why i suggest to keep the build 604 for back up.

Anyway I'm sure we can always find a way to solve any problem.

My Friend, please forgive me if I'm wrong, but maybe you forget to change StartPrice to 1 or nearest round number of your pair. StartPrice = 1 for Non JPY pairs, StartPrice = 100 for JPY pairs, and StartPrice = 1000 for XAUUSD (Gold).

Hello everyone,

I would like to thank Kiads for his work. I love his cycdiv indicator even if it repaints. I trade forward and not backwards, so if it repaints I do not care.

The way I use the indicator is: I use it on candle charts, I only take the direction when it breaks above the zero line for longs and the opposite for shorts.
Also I will take the break of the trendline long only if the cross is above zero and short only if the cross is below the zero line, at every cross.

One more thing I would like to add is that I wait for the candle to close in the direction of the signal.

Hope my explanation is clear, I will attach an image also.

(do not pay attention at my sell order,this is a demo with a forgotten order, I just happen to use this chart to show examples)

I have subscribed to this thread. I have always been fascinated by the concept of Renko charts but have never been able to implement it to my liking.

Hi Kiads!
Itīs sad that the thread its really quiet.
This system have so much potencial!
But seens that not many people wants to post his trades.
I have been trading with geo renko and I can say that my analisys become
much more clear and my trading gets really improved!

I have been backtest some pairs sekking for a more mechanical aprouch to the georenkos
and came with a powerfull pattern using divergence of the price with the old oscilator.
But the problem is that the bests occur in the greater georenko range, Ex. EURJPY (32).
And since that its dificult to spot the market all day, I want to ask if its not so complicated,
to add a divergence alert with email + sound message to the first oscilator indicator from the other thread?
You can notice from de pics attached that it gave trades with a very good R:R!
If you are busy to doing so its okay!
You already give to much to us!
And I can monitor for this trades for the max time i can, but it would be a great tool the alerts!

I have a problem, i forget to make a backup for Metatrader build 604 and i have used the new one, metatrader build 610. Do you have any suggestion or solution for my problem? Is it possible to downgrade the metatrader build 610 to 604? What kind of problem that i will get if i still use your MTH indicator in metatrader build 610? Thanks before

Hi All,
Thank You so much for all contributions, support and constructive comments to this thread.

Yes, I know that there's more than 1000 download but not so many of our friends here post his/her experiences or result with this offline chart system.
But, no problem for me, this is maybe of this new MT4 environment that still keep changing without any descent explanations.

Right now, I still struggle to learn this new change, fixed any bugs that I can fixed, implement and testing it several days, and hopefully that this MT4 new build will became stable soon, so we can come back to deal with the market and not deal with the platform.

In the next several days, after I think its okay and there is no significant bugs, I will re-share new renko chart builder indicator that will work more stable in MT4 build 610 (really hope they don't change it again with another unnecessary new build), and also several indicators that might also useful for this offline chart environment.

Thank You for our friend 4XPIPAHOLIC with explanation how to use SSA CycDiv with standard chart, of course this is very useful, since we should also know how to understand Standard Candlestick Charts, because as Chartist this is must be your fundamental knowledge before you try any kind of offline charts.

For My Friend Smash1820, hopefully you can enjoy this kind of renko, and don't hesitate to ask me if you want to know anything about 'her'.

For My Friend BambooPips, with this Geo Renko Style Renko chart, you can try any kind of Divergence Indicators, but I will also try to search or create Divergence Indicator that 'match' with this renko environment and maybe it will take long time to create and testing it before i can share it here.
