Today Gridcoin was listed on a new cryptocurrency exchange http://c-cex.com.

Currently there are two trading pairs:

Okay so am I right this is like running good old Seti@Home just you get compensated for the computing power?
I think once there is GRC/USD and other pairs, there will be some serious speculation - pull up a bitcoin chart to see what I mean.
Never the less if it helps to find a useful molecule or anything, it's good, no doubt about it ...

Yes it is like that, the Gridcoin client monitors how much you are donating to Boinc projects and then when you find a block you will get between 6-150 gridcoins depending on how much you have donated. Also your average daily Boinc credits are used in the computation for the block reward as well.
If you are mining Gridcoin without donation power to Boinc, then you can only get 5 coins per block solved.

If you don't want to mine with your graphics card, then you can do CPU mining too.

Cryptocurrency is a project from the very elite it is supposed to defeat. Instead of imposing something the government is leading the sheep to believe the idea is from their own. No cryptocurrency will establish itself until the government gives it its blessing. This thing does not take power from the elites it will give them COMPLETE power. You can't hide digital money as you could with cash. there is no under the table possibilities anymore, every transaction will have a record. thats what they are trying to do for millenniums. Be smart!! Don't buy the BS about digital money being anonymous. Nothing you do online is private!! Let me repeat....NOTHING YOU DO ONLINE IS PRIVATE.
