I had (on demo) the Amazing EA ver 1.1.8 up that is a news straddle EA. Did on the China news, it did open and close a trade on audusd but I'll have to play more as I don't get what its up to yet. Still looking for that thing that will get me into the clean AUD high news trades (euraud and gbpaud also) when I should be sleeping.

Most people avoid Asian session trading but what you are clearly showing is the right set ups and the right pairs that move in that session it can be really good. Your euraud sell on the failure to break 1.5300 (turned out to be a classic 85/15 then turn) was great.

I got in a bit later at 1.5238 15 min lower high with 1hr clearly down. We are struggling at yesterdays US session levels where support came in. Below that are plenty of potential support levels that can cause a turn when D is as choppy as it has been of late. Right now currency meter showing eur is very weak and aud very strong so expecting some move lower.

As usual will post charts if trade follows through.

Yesterday euraud a strong positive D close 3 bar reversal, so we should be moving up??? At this stage, well this morning, 1.5300 resistance won the battle. Certainly the 1hr pa today is not what you'd expect from a strong uptrend.

What is giving me some hope for this trade, if this is to be a genuine move up then why didn't Asian session or London open follow through higher?? Of course this could be complete drivel and 1.5200 could hold. TWT. As there is some doubt stop now at BE.

Yes there are lots of reasons to look at 1.5200 as a buy area. 50% fib last move up on 4hr, D pivot 1.5191, support 1.5200. I was never that good at picking a level and trading it so accepting I'm 20 pips up now and realise I'm in BE or big win territory. I'm hoping that this is a pause in direction of the day and realise that with this pair that could still be true after possibly getting taken out at BE. I have already written off this trade mentally, if it goes fine if its BE fine.

Mrs V has a general rule of if you want to move to BE (when at a relatively small profit) then rather just get out.

Whilst this can turn at the drop of a hat at the moment 1.8436 currency meter has gbp as the weakest and only jpy is stronger than aud.
