GM - sell signal in cable at 7:44; SS in UJ at 7:49 = sell GJ in a BB pinch at 7:48 - chart later....target ~ 171 BRN

Took partials at the BRN and the remainder after the small red marubozo with high volume was followed by a graveyard doji close to the **75 level with TVI showing +ve divergence..

Edit: The actual high was at 5:53 at the MR 3 level and the low so far is at 8:36 in another graveyard doji at the MR 1 level - 116 pips / 164 mins.

There were several potential entries and the one that I took fell 70p in 47m......

Just wondering Captain is there a MTF version of the TVI histogram?

UJ heading down, so could only take this buy in cable.....entry is clear, took partials after the WRB - a green marubozo - with very high volume.....trailing stop on the remainder behind (under) the 25 ema.....

Islander,

I have been looking at the TVIv2 for more than two weeks. Although I still use the entire matrix on two time frames to identify trend and counter trend moves which will determine target and SL distances. In only using the the TVIv2, have you found your entries are better, or is it just cleaner on the chart? Have you found value in only using that version of one of the matrix components instead if the full matrix?

I changed to just the TVI_V2 as I had noticed that the top line of the matrix was usually the first to change colour by 1 or 2 bars before the others and as I am trading the 1m charts this is important. Also, the actual TVI gives 3 signals - its change of colour, its cross of the zero line and divergence at turns - so for the advanced trader, more info IMO than the matrix.....remember that I still have 5m & 15m charts open, but I usually just post the 1m....

Hey, you're doing well, running a thread and trading is never easy!.......the rest is down to live screen time.....I must be several thousand hours north of 15K....

What type of SL do you use?

Is it a set amount of pips or just under the last swing.Do you trail the profits?

Hard SL on entry in MT4 will be 11.1 to 15.5 pips depending on the contract with my mental SL the other side of the 25 EMA and hard stop moved to +1 asap and yes, I use a loose trail until I see the move slowing when I will tighten it
