Hi Alien, hi everyone,

Sorry for going way back on this post of yours Alien. I just finished catching up with the whole thread. I discovered this thread at its begining (25 pages). I thought it looked interesting and that I would come back to it later. Well 20 days later, the thread was showing more than 2000 posts and 100 pages. It has been a marathon to catch up, stay posted on the last posts, trade, and learn your methode in the same time (of course without mentioning family life and kids...).

Well now I got all the infomation I can give you again a big thanks, I learnt really a lot with your methode. Now, just need to practice.

I wanted to react to your post about the trader's podcast since nobody did.

I have been listening to pretty much all the episodes of the trader's podcast so far. I am not convinced of how a great trader Rob Booker is (I have been attending several webinars where he was presenting different systems, never got a grip on them and the back tests did not convinced me). But I think that his humanity, experience and advices are really worth the journey. There is there really a lot of valuable ressources and information, and you can get really (re)inspired after each and every episode.

Rob is presenting trading as maybe it should be: it is not the system that makes the trader successful, it is the trader, and especially his/her mindset and understanding.

His big thing is that trading is part of a spiritual journey: to be a better trader, you have to be a better human (don't know if this applies to Aliens).

Leastening to this podcast has also inspired me in other areas of my life not related to trading.

Also, being a retail trader is a very lonely profession, and I guess that is why we are all here. So listening to the podcast will kind of give you some colleagues you can listen the speeches of during lunch break, with topics sometimes not directly about trading, but that would interest traders, such as "how to deal with your spouse as a trader", or "sex and trading".

I personally recommend listening to the podcast. Here also, marathon to catch up if you start now. They produce 2 episodes per week if I am not wrong.

Dear Alien,

I am not sure it has been illustrated so much before, and apologize if it has been and I did not cought it.

But to be completely clear about it, could you show us some visual examples of what you call "lower TF's failing" to carry higher TF's further?

Took a quick 20 pips on UJ breakout from BB squeeze. Used Alien's tip of marking lines. !!

Looking through the timeframes, this looks like a turn, and this was wave 1? Looking for wave 2 down, and then will take ride on wave 3 up.

EDIT: Looking closer at H4, this may be bottom of wave 2, and beginnings of wave 3 already. Would love to hear more experienced comments.

Agree. Lower TF drive hiher TF. On H1 though green Stochastic and RSIOMA have to overcome 50 line for a better trade.

AUDUSD

What i see!

Mn is short;
W1 is short Adx 7,21,42 is resting now, maybe will probably be at the end of the counter trend;
D1 is long but it seems to have found the top of the trend. All Adx without strengh, maybe if H4 push the trade goes backdown to the large trend, D1 will be short in a large trend again;
H4 is topping and will be expect the trend go back down sooner. The green stoch is going down close to the 50 area, the rsioma is next 80 level but it will go downward if DS turns back down;
H1 is short The green stoch and Rsioma already go in south direction;
M15 is short ( No adx power yet ) but blue stoch is falling down under 50 and Rsioma is below 20 level now.

M15 begins to be aligned with H1,H4 so i'll wait for the momentum, to be confirmed by risoma and green stoch in lower TF

Wouldnt one think that in part its only 6 pips average because of quick partial profit taking?

Alien what can you do to bring some momentum to the markets ?? Im sure as an Alien you have some technology,lol. Markets sucks today, no momentum. Im sitting on my hands.

Hi all,

just took a trade on gold .saw divergence on 15 min and DDS on 5min and on 30 min.The ADX's were constructing.could not sit on my hands any longer and took the trade before it expanded(hope it does not come back to bit me.lol ). what are your views?

Hi All,

Last weekend my MT4 platforms got the update to the newest build of MT4.

I've got everything working again, only the ADX dashboard doesn't work always. (Will look into that deeper.)

But because of the forced update and the fact that the mq4 language changed a lot, i tried to create the same setup on Marketscope (fxcm).
I just need one indicator to move to Marketscope. It is the Delayed (or DODA) stochastics.
Does anyone know what the formula is of the Delayed Stochastics? Or can describe where it is based on?
