- Mainly trading on major news/events (placing orders to catch the swing) and anything within the hour (or more) of the news/events
- Minimal trading on swings/scalping etc

Now that Aussie unemployment rate & unemployment change is over and done, looking forward to the next few trading opportunities:

1. Retail Sales & Unemployment Claims - USD
2. China CPI - AUD, NZD
3. Retail Sales q/q - NZD
4. BoJ & RBA MPC Minutes - JPY, AUD
5. British CPI y/y - GBP

I'm glad you are well aware of the difference between live and demo trading, and taking steps to prevent demo spillover into your live trading.

Soros says he was speculating and everybody believed it to be true. But was he? Considering that Soros placed the farm plus a huge amount of borrowed money on that single 'bet', he sure seemed pretty certain of the outcome.

instead of doing demo you guys should do real , even cent should also work , but demo promotes wrong reckless behaviors. Trader can afford to be ruthless but cant afford to be reckless.

I hate to see people blabber and say you people are wasting your time, trade live etc but cant even show a demo TE at least... I just want to shove his face and tell STFU! Sorry if im a bit harsh its who i am.

New trader here who is interested to join. Been reading quite a lot on FF and the DEMOlympics thread made me decide to register. I would regard it a good opportunity to learn and develop, and hopefully return the favor at some point soon as well.

Started of with scalping but have moved to 4H and D1, the lesser demand on screentime is a big plus. So far been looking at GBP/USD, and major XXX/JPY pairs. They're not easy but the volatility is interesting.

Have you tried sync manually? I have the new MT4 build 604 and it wouldn't refresh till I did it manually (though I think maybe it's behaving itself now, not sure).

Apologies - had internet connection problems for the past 24 hrs - service provider working on damaged cables. I tried to access the 1st post now to add contestants but FF tells me i'm not allowed - do not have the credentials . I have sent a message to attempt to get this sorted. I have the PM's of a few and will add all when the issue has been sorted -

Anyone still interested or want to do changes must do so as there is only 5 hours left before close of registration. No changes will be allowed after that. So any demo account created for the purpose of taking part as from the start date of the thread MUST be submitted within the next 5 hours. ( the link to me via PM). Should FF not resolve the technical issue - I will load all qualifying explorers received as soon as this is possible - even if this is after the end of the 13th.
