The T3 indicator aren't work here.

I dont suppose anyone has the source code for the ultra stoch indy? I have tried contacting John (the author) but think he is awol.

How are you confirming the BB pinch?

There is obviously the visual narrowing of the channel but can this be done objectively?

I have been looking for an indicator that can measure channel width and flag an alert. There must be one out there...

The chart says BB squeeze < 25 . So that means when the top and bottom band are SMALLER(<) than 25 pips he qualifies it as a pinch.He has also said previously that he keeps a small square drawn on the screen with a 25 pip side to measure it by putting it on the BB

Hi Rooi,

Great thread you have going here. Congrats and thanks to both you and islander on the resources and guidance.

You may want some clarification on the size of the pinch, 25 pips is quite large for m1 and m5, perhaps 2.5?, I just look for where price consolidates into a very narrow band and look for the volatility to come in and the bands to start to widen. You often get a fake on the first move so have to be careful on that but the other indicators offer a good degree of protection and any doubt, get out. This method of trading offer some good runs so a couple of small losses shouldnt hurt too much.

Also, checked everywhere for the T3_8 but cant find so will just have to put up with this for now.

Glad to hear we have the T3 matrix indie problem sorted now.I will fix mine this weekend

The <25 means anything smaller that 25 pips on his GJ and EJ chart is considerate a squeeze I think.Really just a sign of consolidation / accumulation forming for the next "move" give or take a fakes or two like you said.Im sure Islander will say something about it.

Thanks for looking in and keeping us on our toes regarding the proper ways things are done as there are often lots of people in the background that make FF and certain thread/projects/strategies what they are.

You guys have certainly done that with the Genesis.Thanks for the thread and to Xaphod for his part that brought it all together.

May i ask, as long as i open my MT4 and it does not make a pop up asking me if Metaqoutes has to make changes to my hard driver, i am safe ? I am not at all familiar with this stuff so it could be great problems for me

GM - bought cable at 6:43 and GJ at 6:56.....

PS I have 1m € as a buy.....

Edit> closed both in 7-20 bar on breaks of the 25 ema with it reversing to down....

Hi huskyboy. For the simple reason that according to my trading strategy and my trading rules the signal was valid for an entry. The sl was very iffy which is why from the time I entered I had one eye on the exits.

@Islander, I was looking too with a view to a continuation type trade. Might yet join you though.

Hi strada.

Here is what I have done so far.

Go to any mt4 downloader or broker site and download the new build and a new "instance" of mt4 and save it in my documents folder on the C drive and then install the new Zip folder files in the "new" mt4 instance and then update you charts and see if it works.That way you will forever have your old build on you computer working well as long as you leave it in you "programs files" folder they can not change it.You might in future not be able to trade from it but that wont be a problem for you.

So you have two mt4s.The old build in you program files and the new one you downloaded to your C drive in documents.Its a bit of work but will give you an insurance policy and peace of mind while everything is ironed out with indicators and platform etc.

For now im still able to trade of my old build and will update my new "instance" of mt4 with the new indies and updates and get it to work properly.Then I dont have to use the old build BUT I will always have it for backup.Send me a PM if I must explain a bit better or in detail.

Very nice Islander, I'd decided to go with cable whichever way it broke from its recent Hi&Lo, the signals were there for both directions. All happened very quickly, now out and in good profit. Charts later, early dentist app't, see you later.
