nice work as usual yesterday, With all this success you do realize that your wife is going to be expecting more vacations? Maybe best you block her from FF.

And Rooi, your small but very, very steady pip count is not going unnoticed, very nice.

And Captain Islander, Please keep an eye on my weekly post rate here on the thread because at the rate that my trading has turned for the worst since November last year I am going to need to be asking lots more questions. The overall loosing streak I am having is unsustainable and yes I have reduced lot size.

Edit..... Now that's 5 posts I just hoping that gets me some question credit LOL.

Huskyboy you will find that a lot on here that will use MT4 for analysis but wont necessarily use it for their trade execution. Further to this and in actual fact they may use MT4 of one broker for analysis and be using a completely different broker for trade execution. All brokers platforms are slightly different and some are extremely easy for closing partial positions.

This is why also some cant show their trade history as the round circles with triangles in with a line extending to each, that shows precisely where entry and exit took place. Roois charts are a good example of what I am talking about as he places his trades with his MT4 broker. He can therefore show the triangles with line attached.

And just to keep the batting average up, this mornings trade.

Sat down originally thinking I may not get an entry in view of Japan public holiday.
Saw this GJ 35 minutes after TO with M15 stock exiting from 20 OS area and visualized it running up to PP which it did.
Once it broke PP was thinking I may get BRN but it was not to be. Entered with the plan of modest profit from the start.
+15.5 on a Tokyo holiday.

my friend if you can't change the volume then you Type of execution in the Order window is wrong, you have to change first the Type to "Market Execution"

As i trade on MT4, here it is. And like Islander says : I agree about only trading one of these two European Yen Crosses.....each day provides plenty of bankable pips from either of them this is a GJ trade. For the moment, as i am short off time for trading, i only trade GJ.

Off to an early start and trying to make some more time for the markets by trading the "move" after the Asian opens but does seem a bit slow and thin today.
FO should brings some volatility

+9 on the first for the day

Exit @-2 and reversed.

TP1 +6 (missed +7 when briefly available), TP2 out @BE. Will consider re-entering TP2 if signal reforms

I had a green arrow in cable at 6:53 and then in the 7:03 a green in UJ too, so had my finger on tthe GJ buy trigger.....BUT UJ didn't continue on up, so I'm still flat....

sold gu at 6411, missed a sell in gj, so looking for a pull back....


Edit - closed GU on its second hit on the DP. UJ now has a green arrow, so scratch the idea of a sell in GJ....patience.....waith for the next BB squeeze....

Hi all,

The Beast tested my resolve and won i took a short aimed for +30 and left with +5 and it blew past my TP after faking me out.
My first trade this week but done for the day, duty calls.

I did sell GJ at 7:33 and closed in the HL at 7:49 - poor trading, after missing the initial sell in the 7:10 bar I was always on the back foot - chart later....

Edit: well done Intrepidpips.....ah - was it +30 or +5 ?
