Snails pace out there for the most part. Took 3p off EU over FO & was on EJ short over LO but being NFP day, with the lack of liquidity that brings, I'm totally spooked & just jumped ship at a s/r line for another 3p when I could have held for 10 more. NFP day messes with my brain leading to undisciplined trading, I might just stay in bed next time round!

I see you are still using a some kind of bands. I have just thought of having one indicator you might be interested in.
The Market_Statistics_v7_1 indicator is Volume Weighted Moving Average with bands. Try it.
I believe it is much more powerful for your purposes.

Howdy all. GJ was the one to be on this morning but unfortunately a combo pc issues & seeing EJ first led me to back the wrong horse. Saw UJ turn short so knew which crosses to be on but took the wrong one as I hadn't had the time to do an adequate prep. GJ gave up c. 50p whereas I only managed to take 12 from EJ. Closed at s/r after increased volume. Got to be happy starting the week with 12p & it was a good straight-up scalp but a bit disappointed to have ended up in the wrong trade. Got to get up earlier I guess! Maybe I should move to Spain...
I too looked at EJ, BUT as EU was still above its 1m / 5m EMAs with its stochs in the buy zone I concentrated on GJ

Howdy all, some nice movement out there today. Waited for UJ to turn short at around 6:30GMT as it had a look about it & at present I still think UJ has much further to go (I'm thinking beyond 100 & the S&P with it too, but that's another story). Both EJ & GJ had the classic pump & dump about them & GJ seems to be more volatile so I hopped on GJ on the breach of the cloud at 6:43. I should trust my judgement more as I bailed on the trade for -8p when price closed above the cloud: terrible move as price went South from there & I jumped back in on the break out of the cloud at 7:10 for 10p so just covered my loss really. The killer here is that I have no solid early-exit which is something I'm going to have to work on. I saw price closing far side of the cloud & got spooked & cost myself my whole days pips as a result
