Google closed at $1159.96 yesterday and is currently trading in pre market at around $1166, if it holds that price into the open in 20 minutes and the $1175 long call option opens below yesterdays close of $1.30 I will buy the long $1175 call option for today's expiry

Bought some UNG contracts on the open from $23.94, price now at $24.03

PAID $18 per contract or 18c per unit

It opened higher so I have long the $1180 call option for 10c or $10 per contract, risk is small.

I got out at 30c or $30 per contract, movement in the 1V is what moved this option not the underly price. Tripled the option

closed when UNG hit $24.36

looking to next week, CSCO earnings out 2/12. I made good money strangling CSCO last qtr. Looks like ER's shake out a $2 move or better. Currently trading ~$22.50, a 2/22 $24c/$21p cost me $0.24 each side, $0.48 net debit.

CTL has ER 2/12. has been beat down from $42 to $28 this year. No weeklies. Trades today @ $28.7x-28.3x. $2+ moves on previous ER's. Options are cheap, 2/22 $30c $0.25, $31c $0.10; $27p $0.25, $26p $0.15.

...bought 2/22 $31c @ $0.08, trying to get in 2/22 $27p for <$0.20 .... trying to get filled on the puts at $0.15, not happening...

the Google option I bought for $96 is up to $370 per contract, waiting to squeeze a bit more out

Closed out the Google trade

Google is trading above $1176.55 where I got out, the option I paid was 96c or $96 per every contract and I got out at $6.40 or $640 per contract 5x plus

I've taken a trade for next weeks expiration. I've gone long CMG calls $565 for $1.55 or $155 per contract.

look at the weekly chart on the DOW, price has bounced of hard of the 50 day

Yes. I think this up move will follow through into next week. NFP disappoints but no big deal, a long stretch until the next FOMC (they don't meet in Feb). Heavy balance of earnings out. We might get dow retracing > 16,000 within the next 2 weeks or so. Emerging markets?

So I am eyeing bullish spreads on the index etf's. Banish the thought of exogenous events, explosions at Sochi, etc....
