new trade considering about 90 seconds before closing, depending if Haliburton can close below or at $49.35 as the price is indicating right now I will long the $49 put for 30c or $30 per contract for Fridays expiration. Any higher I will cancel the order

I have opened a new Trade in Google, Long GOOG $1125 put for $2.60 or $260 per contract

Hey Brokerr - Yeah, I was also looking at LNKD as well. Looks like decent IV.

@ The Fool / Brokerr / Cecil Gee - Looks like the market had much higher expectations on their earnings. Currently TWTR are down to 59.67 in after hours at the time of writing. Still two DTE but I don't see 90 strike being hit by then...

Hope you managed to get in.....

ON the open I will close the above trade for 20c or whatever it gives me as I made a mistake in taking this trade, it will be a LOSS

Closed at 68c or $68 per contact just shy of tripling, bought for $23 near open.

Hal is now at $50.46

woooowww, congrats, easy money... Twttr down 20%, just wondering if you are planning on entering a smiliar trade with one of the stocks releasing earnings today ??

One more question, just wondering, if you get assigned, which is your exit strategy ??

Thanks brokerr. I'd sell prior to assignment. I aim to keep the probability as low as possible. Around 2 SD's resulting in a 2.4% that it will expire in the money.

I am currently looking at EXPE 85 strike. Order has not been filled yet....

I think EXPE also de $80 strike is a good bet

I am shying away from selling LNKD calls - scared away by the huge moves seen yesterday in several of the boutique stocks - GMCR @ 29% up, TWTR @ > 20% down. EXPE maybe a safer bet for call selling.

The 80 strike is a little to close for me and my risk tolerance

At current price of 64.92, the 80 call is a 23% gain. Based on their previous profits I think they have jumped near 20% in the past. I'm going to keep my order for the 85 call......although this will net me less premium, it is further out and lower risk....

Perhaps they'll tank like TWTR......

USDJPY breakeven for tomorrow, I have a feeling short vol with delta hedging could work out ok
