Thank you lastingwell. The scenario during which price retests the TL when it breaks out I've seen a lot in theory but very very rarely in practice... Often times I've taken trades on the close of the first M5 candles that break a TL in case the trendline is, like you say valid i.e tested a third time. On the other hand it often happens that M5 would move over a trendline and then move back inside it, in case the TL is one drawn off a much longer TF. I've found that fine tuning the TL by adjusting it to the exact swing based on the lower timeframe I can avoid that as much as possible. The approach I use helps me from an eventual M15 rejection of a trendline, but it's pretty complicated and I feel it doesnt have to be.

I can't agree with that as I see it happening all the time, and thats why I look for it all the time. Anyway time to depart again, I will be logging out for a couple of weeks, good trading everyone.
