For M5 I changed the M5stoch to 14,3,5 and the results so far is very promising.

Now I've got to attend to my day job cya soon!

Just saw this and wont be able to attend to trading today, why did I get to the office late?

REPAINTER

One feature one has to accept with mtf indicators is that they repaint!
Yes they repaint the current unclosed price bar that of the higher time frame that they are reporting or reflecting, thus the mtf Stoch of M15 in M1 may be pointing south at 0712 am but if price action should give a bullish engulfing bar, and the M15 bar closes way up north, the mtf Stoch may end up repainting within those final minutes and seconds of 0715 am, cross, and point north.

I have tried to watch the !Ultra Stoch "OTF" in real time and I have come to see that it repaints whole past periods and not just current bars.
The 1st instance is this morning, the screenshot I took of the 2 long signals showed the !Ultra Stochs with blue (Bullish) colour and much latter in the day that same time slice had turned red (Bearish), the picture worsened much latter.
The implications are that you will get very good signals in real time but those signals will change rapidly; you cannot back-test reliably at all.
This leaves room for doubt and lack of CONFIDENCE!
Back to my first love Sc mtf Stoch.
I think the repainting issues can be fixed by the coder if he has time as I really fell in love with it's no confusion signals.
I am posting the first screenshot and the second one which raised the alarm as a previous long signal was dis allowed in the latter screenshot.

CLOSER LOOK

Looking closer I found the differences and taking another shot latter I saw more evidence.
I think I will post these on the coders thread to draw his attention for possible correction.

FINAL CUT?

Having flip flopped over indicators and settings, I really wonder when the "tweaking" will end.
The !Utra Stochs gives great real time entries but is not reliable for back-testing for optimisation.
I've reverted back to the Sc mtf Stoch without the histogram to allow for " distortion" free signals.
Also added MA ribbon filled to give some indication of retracement and continuation.
The MA Ribbon works just fine on it's own with the M15 mtf Stoch but I'm retaining the M1 stoch to give indications of divergence, now and then.
What I've found is that every combination of settings will give you profitable entries which another settings would not and miss some profitable entries which other settings would have given you.
The verdict, no optimal settings just to assess your risk and take your trades.

MULTIPLE MONITORS NEEDED

While watching GBPUSD the 1st pre FO entry was missed and the second was rationalised away -"too close to the RN"
